One of the best energetic and powerful strains I've ever had. The uplifting effect of this strain goes strong. I suffer from a mood disorder that causes major depression and anxiety that I have meds for, but this has such wonderful attributes that it makes me very happy and focused. It's a super strain that won High Times strain of the year award over 10 years ago for it's extreme and well rounded properties as a powerhouse sativa. NOT FOR BEGINNERS. The high is intense but perfect if you're an avid coneseur. :)

My chronic pain seems better. Standing up doesn't hurt as bad. Seems to be giving me alertness. Anxiety probably if it wasn't for the tranq.

At first I wasn’t sure about this one with all the hype. Yeah it’s real good! Haha great day strain, makes you adventurous and creative. It gets you out of the bubble. I took about two solid bong rips and Became a culinary expert. Enjoy this one!

clean woodsy taste, smooth. I installed an automatic lock after taking JH..... something I've needed to do for a month and I took it on with focus and patience and zero anxiety. so happy to feel uplifted and motivated

There's something about Jack Herer that does not agree with me at all. It sends the room spinning and me into paranoia by turning hearing up to a 10, so I'm stuck in a confusing sativa hell that makes over 2 hours feel like an eternity. Hard Pass.

Though sativas are not recommended typically for anxiety, I love this strain for exactly that. I feel so much clearer and focused when I take one to two hits. This is definitely a good "wake and bake" strain. Even after a long shesh, you can still get your stuff done with fun, creativity and less anxiety (if you microdose).

Helps great with fatigue..Very uplifting effects along with energy.

This review if for anyone who has never used weed before or has had not-so-great effects that maybe threw them off ever trying again. A novice review, if you will. I was of the second category (and really, before trying Jack Herer, I was the first category, too!). I had some edibles that I thought would kill me and had me crawling on my hands and knees to get into bed because I was so dizzy! (back before they got a lot better, so I've heard). I've tried other's buds and told it wouldn't knock me out, and I found myself couch locked, anxiety ridden and/or asleep. NO BUENO. After about four years, I finally decided to try one more time and hit a local shop. I explained AGAIN that I wanted something for depression, pain and something I could WORK on - not pass out. I was skeptical, but the budtender told me I couldn't go wrong with Jack. And oh how right she was! It's absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! I have taken two big hits right after waking up for the past four days (I work evenings mostly, so I knew I had some time if things went horribly wrong), and the change in my mood is something I can hardly describe! I have racing, obsessive and worrisome thought processes, and it's something no anxiety medication has ever really tackled. I get full-blown panic attacks obsessing about money (or the lack thereof) or my job or whatever it might be. Then there's the depression. This stuff is like MAGIC! It's just enough of a body effect to feel calm and relaxed without feeling tired. My head feels like it weighs 20 lbs less, and though I can still try to come up with solutions to my problems, it's PRODUCTIVE problem solving - not obsessing or worrying about what might happen. So I'm actually getting shit DONE! I have major abdominal pain from five gyn surgeries and chronic kidney stones. While I can't say it rids me of pain, it does help dull it. I was told by the budtender that no strain is really great for severe abdominal pain, so I can't judge JH on that. I am excited to see if it helps when I get a migraine! Or maybe with less stress and worrying, I won't even get them anymore. We'll see! Also, I am a cigarette smoker (I know, I KNOW!), and even with that, most strains have been SO HARSH on the lungs - I cough like a damned fool! The Jack Herer; however? Smooth, easy and not even a throat tickle. And the smell is amazing! I have never been a fan of weed smell = SKUNKY! But this stuff has none of that, if that's even a consideration to you. This stuff is magical - Jack Herer, you left this earth a helluva lot better than you found it! THANK YOU!
