As a newbie to smoking, I haven't gone through alot of strains but out of the handful I've tried, this is in my top three. It's a happy high. As someone with chronic PTSD and depression, this has gotten me to be productive with schoolwork, chores, etc. Its a very sweet taste. I loved the pineapple taste and scent, adding to my great mood. I would give this a 5/5 but as so many reviews have said it helped with migraines and headaches, mine stayed as like a shadow? even if it was the tiniest bit reduced, I was uncomfortable the whole time.

this shit right here man! I really can't say enough about this. I now understand why it's a classic. one of the best smelling strains I've ever had. the smoke? incredible. the best word I can use to describe it is - confident! it's so calming, physically and mentally. There's nothing you can't handle with this. it's tired with white widow as my favorite strain but it might overtake it. Once I'm done with this stash, I'll know for sure. I wish I had gotten more. don't pass this up!

i struggle w severe depression and 2 bowls of this finally got me out of bed after hours of struggling to do so.. i also have disordered eating, and i’m making myself breakfast rn!! this strain is indeed very energizing... i love it 💚💚

Possibly one of the most famous strains in existence. Thanks to movies like the many installments of the Cheech and Chong series, as well as other Pot-Centric, Cult Classic, Comedies such as How High, Half baked, Dazed and Confused, Pineapple Express, and Grandma's Boy. Maui Wowie, as well as Thai Stick, are among the few strains actually indentified in Cheech and Chong's greatest classic, Up In Smoke. Due to hearing about this strain from icons like Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong so long ago that I probably had been smoking pot for less than a year before I first heard it mentioned by the comdey duo in their flagship film dating my awareness of this strain's existence to over 15 years ago at the very least and possibly closer to 20. I did not actually try this strain until the Summer of 2015, and, when I did, it was not in the flower form that I'd always expected to encounter it in, but rather it was oil in a cartridge designed to be smoked with a vape pen (a high dollar, modifiable, e-cigarette with a large tank that is filled "vape juice", which is a smokable, flavored liquid that typically contains Nicotene at a level of the consumer's choosing that can be as tiny as 2% and as extremely strong as 35% and greater. In this case however, the vape juice has been acquired by a relative that lived in the great state of Washington from one of their dispensaries there, and brought to me when they came to visit me in New Mexico, where I was living back in 2015. They brought my girlfriend at the time and I some strains of flower, along with about 10 cartridges of Maui Wowie and Green Queen oil. It may be due in part to the fact that I had raised Maui Wowie to an almost Mythical status in my head over 15 years of hearing it's name but never encountering it in the real world that caused my experience with it to seem somewhat lackluster when I discovered that, although it was a really good strain, it was in no way phenomenal or legendary as I had expected it to be. On the contrary, I greatly preferred the Green Queen over the Maui. This is probably due in part to the fact I seem to prefer Indica over Sativa, and Green Queen is a Hybrid while Maui Wowie is a pure, classic Sativa. It was still really good and deserving of a four-star rating, but it wasn't something really special like I'd hoped for it to be.

F*** Fantastic! This strain brings pineapples and coconuts from the tropics directly to your mouth. BIG SMILE with TEETH OUT. Treasure this strain if you suffer from depression or Debbie Downers.

I found it hard to believe that the Maui Wowie I bought at Harvest of Scottsdale, AZ was only 15.5% THC. VERY NICE buzz and nice enhanced colors on my tv which was a happy little surprise. I wish you guys could get a little Maui Wowie in the Reserve superior section with a THC content of more like 23-25% THC for us old freaks from the 70s. This is probably due to the demand isn't enough anymore to ship it here in AZ. I have COPD so i can't smoke it. So I eat some on my toast. I get higher by ingesting it. Seems to be a longer lasting high than smoking it as well. Harvest of Scottsdale has always been a quality dispensary for flower for me. I've only been unhappy with some of the sativa shake but that was over a year ago. It was not a superior or premium shake bag and it was cheap. They have good indica strains too. I think It's like everything else you buy. You get what you pay for. So buy your flower from the Reserve column. Try it you'll like it! 😊

Very smooth strain. Great taste. The high is smooth and develop slowly.
