Always there for you when you need to relax and think about nothing but your body sinking into a comatose bliss
This strain is by far my favorite strain in the world. Has a great a aroma and the bud itself looks really pretty. This stuff is a must have if you have sleep problems or if you have inflammation/pain.
spectacular taste and great happy, relaxed feeling. love it!

Super relaxing, nice nighttime or daytime strain. I find it really great for battling depression and nausea. Sometimes when a sativa won't bring me out of the doldrums, a puff of Northern Lights does the trick.
Would recommend to those with depression, nausea, pain, and irritability.

Wonderful taste reminiscent of walking through northern woodlands with lots of towering evergreens overhead. Warm smoke with a spicy bite & even a little burn in nose on some puffs which adds to that feeling. A little nostalgia, a little myth, this flower lives up to the reputation which proceeds it every time. The buzz is heavy & strong from the very beginning never yielding in terms of body high only getting more relaxed as time goes on.
Even if coupled with a strong cup of coffee it will not take long for mellow slumber to prevail. This combination of caffeine & heavy indica works amazingly with ADHD to allow for an hour or two (if lucky) to sit focused enough to read. Usually keeping a blanket close by is a good idea. Waking wrapped cozy with book still open to spot feeling extremely well rested is common.

NL is one of my favorite strains. For me it's classic. Heavy on the stoned and moderately high. I've seen purple and neon green NL all with long sprawling bright orange hairs. The semi frosty buds are dense and conical. Smells like eucalyptus, hash, and hints of flower. I've smelled NL that has been more hash like and others more floral with hints of citrus. Smoke is very heavy. Lag on expansion with moderate cough. Iron blanket is immediately felt. Euphoria creeps in. Relax your body and mind with NL. Great for night time use because it causes sleep easily. Munchies are ravenous. Blood shot eyes with dry eyes, and a very heavy relaxation... My lights are out and all that's left are the Northern Light.
Highly recommend for insomnia and treating anxiety.
Ignore my previous review on Northern lights because I've smoked it again and wow I'm high as fuck!
This is a strong one.
Took while to fully kick in but once it did, I got hit with intense euphoria, as euphoric as cannabis can get. Felt so relaxed the entire time. Great for listening to music or watching something funny.
My new favorite indica.

A great Classic Strain, simply put. I be telling the truth, y'all. A well done crop of Northern Lights should register somewhere in the 22-26% THC zone, and that's plenty strong, for the psychoactive properties of this wondrous flower make it a mind bending experience when smoked. I really like the effects of this "game changer" of the cannabis world. I'm an old timer, myself, having seen many moons, with over four decades of marijuana usage, (always aimed for best flowers or hash available in Southern California), and that said, Northern Lights is in my Top Ten Strains. The batch I'm enjoying now is lab rated at 24.78% THC, and is fresh, well cured and with the distinctive fruity scent and flavor very distinctive of Northern Lights. I get a good rush out of a big hit or two, then settle back for a bit to enjoy. Real nice feeling.
This old timer's giving this old Classic, 5 Golden Stars in the Hall of Cannabis Fame.
