I've been searching high and low for this strain since I first heard of it, so when my guy told me he had some, I was cautiously optimistic. He let me try a small bowl and I can see why this is one of the most popular strains on Leafly. An inhale of this strain tastes pine-y and earthy, with a berry aftertaste; two tokes, and you can tell your stress, depression and anxiety to stick it where the sun doesn't shine. I do feel spacey and lost in my thoughts, so unless you have tremendous willpower, I wouldn't recommend NL for daytime use or if you have shit to do. Also, this is the first strain I've smoked that's made me giggly. Not sure why that is. But Northern Lights lives up to its hype and I'm glad I finally got the opportunity to try it. If you come across this gem, stock up!

Tasted like I was in a winter forest, breathing the sweet snowy air, and smoking outside a log cabin. After I finished my small joint, I felt like the chillest dude- serene, waves of peace, and I fell asleep within an hour. This would also be a great strain to use to meditate. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas or at least I think so. Strain 18 of 100.

I was one my way to a friends house and I quickly went into a supermarket to buy some food. I had popped a hash cookie and smoked a couple of joints when I started tripping out. 2 of my friends and I got lost and were stuck in the supermarket for over half an hour. The amount of colours in there almost made me throw up but luckily I have the experience to control myself. After the cookie had worn off and I smoked some more bud, I felt happy and chill. The only thing you need to take care of is your bank account. Because the munchies are insane!

Favorite strain of all time, hands-down. Had some of this from Oregon awhile back, and even some of my friends admitted it was among the dopest dope they'd ever smoked. VERY heavy Indica strain, with that trademark Kushy, pungent type taste and smell. If you have anxiety like me, or you're looking for some heavy pain relief, this is the strain for you. It's very euphoric as well, you'll get the giggles for sure. And make sure your fridge is well-stocked, as this will make you wanna eat everything in sight as well. Perfect nighttime strain for kicking back on the couch with some friends and watching movies. Def a "hit-it-and-quit-it" type strain for those with lower tolerance.

This is a great bed time strain. I tried the wax. The warm comforting high melts you into bed. Or Netflix and chill. Im prefer a strong sativa. And absolutely love it. Calms you down and is very relaxing.

One of the best strains I've had. The body high is amazing and your thoughts aren't too buzzy. The batch i have is very potent so a little goes a long way. Only negatives about this strain is the dry mouth, dry eyes, dry nose, as well as the sleepiness which can be both good and bad. The dryness is worse than any other strain i've ever tried, but the amazing high cancels it out. After the high goes down you will only want to go to sleep. I made the mistake of smoking this earlier today around 3 and it's now 9 I've just been slumped all day. This strain has potential to slow you down rather than speed you up like sativas. This makes it a great strain for thinking about life because you can stay on your thoughts without them going 10000 miles per hour.
