Northern Lights reviews

A delightful Indica! One of the best nighttime strains to take when you want to watch your fav show before going to bed. Not an immediate sleep inducer, more of a slowly-will-put-you-to-sleep-after-an episode-or-two-of The Office.

My love for this strain really snuck up on me. Firstly, and full disclosure, this was a cart, and, even more, was a “distillate and botanical terpenes” cart [Bulldog, DC]. In case you don’t know what that means: it means that rather than actually concentrate Northern Lights cannabis, they use a cannabinoids blend, and then add terpenes extracted from various plants to recreate a Northern Lights profile. This gives the maker particular control over the flavors (by choosing the tastiest versions of each terpene), though I suspect this also changes the nature of the high. Northern Lights in this cart has the loveliest lemon taste. Not like PineSol, which is sometimes what people mean when they say “lemon”, but approaching the flavor of actual lemon. Slightly sweet. The calm is peaceful, and euphoric. I often enjoy it as an evening strain. That said, I am presently using it on a morning where I do not have much to do, and I am very much enjoying just letting the waves of calm and pleasure wash over me. But I’m not couch-locked, either.

This has been a life saver for me. I was hesitant to try an indica as I already struggle with normal sleep patterns, but the intense high and the way my pain becomes an after thought is why this is my favorite strain. I'd argue it even helps with my ADHD and bipolar disorder as it keeps my brain slow and my emotions under control.

I’m probably not as well versed in strain names vs. your usual cannabis-friendly person, but I knew and remembered THIS name, so that’s saying something right there. NL is everything it’s cracked up to be…in every way. I’m much more of an indica person anyway, but this is a really unbelievably amazing strain. (This is coming from a 30+ smoker/vaper/etc, for whatever that’s worth.) The only not wonderful effect is very dry mouth, as others have mentioned. A small price to pay, though!

Calming effects that are outweighed by the dizziness. still somewhat a pleasant experience when the dizziness goes away

Paranoia. Maybe pleasant for socializing or daytime.

Great overall indica. Had it in vape works great for stress
