Good strain to kick back and chill with your boys.

Absolutely astounding strain. Picked some up the other day. The buds were a light green color, and were covered in orange and white trichomes. I smoked two bowls with my roommate and we were stoned out of our minds. The high is a powerful stone, which comes on gradually and leaves you uplifted for a few hours.

This was the first time I smoked Northern Lights, its hard to get here, and its potent, and quite smooth, and a great buzz. I would recommend this Highly.

Some of the comments I'm reading are dead on accurate. I'm smoking my own grown northern lights. I've smoked it since its trichomes were clear all the way to about 50/50 cloudy/amber. I have some very potent nugs curing in glass jars where they'll stay for up to a couple of months. Smoked early produces a very short head high that's rather pleasant. Makes you smile and want to get out and do something. Smoking when fully ripe or a good 50/50 cloudy/amber allows you to experience the full potential of this amazing indica. You will experience confusion (not a bad kind), time warp/shift, kinda trippy environment when listening to music of any type. Shows and movies seem far more interesting but may seem a bit extreme, especially bad movies. Imagine going to the kitchen to get a glass of ice water and wondering why it seems like it took you 30 minutes to finish your task. I've added a sweetener to mine and so the flavor is incredibly sweet like I bit into a ripe fruit. Build up some resin and smoke some schwag and it will reward you with that sweetness to the crappy bud. This bud improves with time so the patient are rewarded with some of the finest smoke. It should sparkly under light and very hard to break up with your fingers, i imagine a grinder would just make a sticky mess. Use a small pair of sharp scissors to cut this bud into smoke-able pieces, clear your calender because grown properly, one hit will put you on your ass, but you'll be happy doing so.

Classic strain, love it very peaceful

I wanted and DID dance for over 2 hours with house remodeling and cleaning speckled into high. Disco dancing to Michael Jackson etc... I loved the taste and didn't need a second hit until 2+ hours later!
