Northern Lights is a guaranteed good experience. Doesn't hit too hard but gives all the relaxation and wanted effects from a relaxing strain.

My favorite strain ! Northern Lights has a piney smell and flavor… I feel like Paul Bunyan chopped off a tip of a pine mixed with herb - haha ! Lovely high, very classy high.

Taste: Strong notes of peppercorn, in fact I'd wager that the peppery taste and aroma is the strongest. Slight hints of piney/earthy flavor and aroma alongside the tiniest amount of almos minty flavor as well. I tend to not love the more peppery flavors in my cannabis but overall I use this strain more so for it's provided benefits than flavor. Potency: Ohhhhh boy, this one is a power house. I can't remember a time I've smoked Northern Lights without experiencing a strong inclination to either be a total couch potato or simply fall asleep. I use this strain to get to bed! Knocks me straight out after strong pulls from the vape. I would recommend for cannabis beginners to take it slowly with this guy, it will knock you on your butt and could potentially provide a bit of anxiety if consumed too quickly. Effects: The effects are where this strain really shines. A very potent, heavy body high is almost immediately felt after consumption. I find myself almost feeling glued to my bed, not wanting to move. Waves of euphoria from your toes to the tippy top of your head. I find this strain to be supremely relaxing and a great way to unwind after a long day, or any day really (hehehe). This strain is also a powerful appetite stimulant for me and I find I can pack down food much easier. Would not recommend as a daytime strain for those of you who find indica strains to be a bit couchlockish, as you WILL want to sit on your bottom all day. You might be fine with low to moderate sized doses, but anything heavier and you're gonna watching SpongeBob and eating chips for 10 hours straight.

I feel like there was a lot of hype for this strain. It’s great for taking pain away. I have chronic back pain and I literally feel 0 pain right now. However, I also have insomnia and was hoping this would help since so many people said it knocked them out. Sadly, I initially smoked 2 hours ago and been hitting the pen since and I’m still not able to sleep. Tastes decent though.

Let me start by saying that I initially was attracted to this strain because of its alleged pain relieving qualities. I am in my mid-50s and a desk worker for most of my life, so as you can imagine my back is not in the best shape. Things have been getting progressively worse though over the course of this year and a few months ago things progressed from generalized low back discomfort into full-blown sciatica. Eventually, I ended up having to get an epidural injection in my spine to relieve the pain. That injection was one of the single most excruciating things I have ever experienced right up there alongside childbirth. After the injection I went home and crawled into bed and attempted to make myself comfortable but nope, that wasn't happening, even with the Perc from the Rx. Cue Northern Lights: it took about 10 draws on my disposable vape pen, and the pain just sort of melted away. It's day 4 after injection and there's still a little pain there, but it's much more manageable. The reason it's a 4 star rating is that it rips my throat up something fierce when I vape it. Next time I'll try flower.

My wife and I have not had sex in nearly a year. We are in our 30s, with a 13 year relationship, and previously extremely active sex life.
