Northern Lights reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Northern Lights.
This is an all time favorite strain. Wow the aroma is so intoxicating am once I vaporize the flower. .... Magic!!!! It feels like the sweetest embrace!!!!!! Try it. Enjoy!!
Smoked this with my girl and man, we were relaxed, happy, giggly, and giddy. This is easily the best strain I’ve ever had.
As my second grow (the first one delivered no potency) approached, I decided to go with Northern Lights because of its capability to withstand northern europes climate. Little did I know that it's a pure Indica (does it really matter if you dont know about it?). I actually wanted a psychedelic strain to go along with my mushroom use.
After a few sessions with my earthy smelling plant I have time say, that I did not expect it to have the effects it has on me. Yes, I get couchlock, and yes, my mouth might feel like I'm Bear Grylls and about to drink my own urine out of a snake in the middle of the sahara - bone dry. BUT: Laying on my couch I closed my eyes and WHOA HELLO! Suddenly I'm in the middle of an intergalactic dance. Clearly visible cannabis hallucinations appear, sparking like a flimmering broken streetlamp gone mad. Shapes of many sorts, all while being perfectly fine with it (I sunk INTO the couch, I became it). Meanwhile my girl is simply knocked out and already dreaming her part of the story.
So, to anyone stating that I must be a newbie to get those effects: My tolerance isnt the highest, but it isnt the lowest either. Festivalsummer and a renewed connection with cannabis have charged my batteries pretty much up. I dont recommend, because I cant know in which way my previous experiences have influenced my opinion. I am still pretty happy to now have a strain in my closet which may manouver myself into a psychedelic (+body felt) state.
I will start this review off by stating that I’m not the most experienced stoner. For years I smoked without knowing what indica or sativa was or the difference between Bush weed and hydro. I couldn’t have told you why some strains had nicknames and some didnt. This year I’ve been learning a lot more and while I have smoked cross breeds of indica and sativa before, I finally got to engage in my first entirely indica experience. It was a huge surprise but it also terrific.
Normally I’m very talkative and silly while high. Even when I’ve smoked predominately indica strains, the little bit of sativa in there balanced it out and gave the energy I craved. Even when I had smoked a crossbred of this very strain (Northern Lights) with the sativa strain Purple Haze, I felt this energy. Yet just on Northern Lights by itself, I felt glued to the chair. When I stood up I was dizzy and felt like I was going to fall over. It was pure relaxation mixed with sheer intensity. As opposed to feel excited and euphoric I just felt like my state of mind was radically altered. I felt calm but that my mind was racing.
I went to sleep, woke up and sat in the back of my friend’s car on the way to another friend’s house as I continued to fall in and out of sleep. We arrived at our friend’s place, and smoked some more then decided to order a pizza. I fell asleep and woke up the next morning with a slightly fuzzy head but a great attitude. I don’t remember much about the experience beyond that. It almost feels like it was a decade ago. It’s just such a blur. Without a doubt one of the best strains I’ve ever had.
Im not normally a fan of indicas, but I love this strain. It gives your mind and body the perfect feel for bedtime. Hits fast, but not hard. It's perfect. Get some of this, take a few good rips from a water bong and let NL lovingly rock you to blissful, sustained sleep. I love this.
My friends family grew this and i got a 1/4 lb. It was beautiful i had a jar with just colas. I couldn't help but smoke it morning, noon and night!!! I was freaking good for about three months well maybe only two...lol!. I would recommend this if you can get top shelf.... As much as u can!! Enjoy!

Northern lights is a strain I’ve known about forever because of that classic office seen, so as soon as I was given the chance to try it I didn’t pass it up. With a very woody taste, it gave a gentle vibe of a forest. The high crept up but once it did it was full swing. I smoke a lot of indica but Northern lights has entered one of my favorites for the relaxing body high and very spacey head high that leaves you feeling very mellow and peaceful
This is by far the best medicine for depression and anxiety yet. This is a very uplifting strain I have ever had. Truly amazing.
