Purple Kush reviews

It's beautiful, delicious, and very mellow. It will make many people pass out if they over-do it. If you get accustomed to the sedative effect, it feels like walking around in a very deep haze.

Very blunted, very average, nothing out of the ordinary high. It's an indica but it didn't really make us sleepy it just made us tired and didn't really relax us either? Over all mediocre

This is a true connoisseur strain for me. The beauty, taste and high are way above any other strain out there (when grown right). To start the purple buds are usually coated in a fine layer of white trichomes, almost like a bit of sugar was spilled on the buds. The scent also has a bit of a sugary grape smell to it as well with a sliver of kushy, earthy after smell. The taste mimics the smell too, very smooth out of the vape. Just everything about this strain is amazing, the high is a mild indica high with some mental sedation but not too much to make it an absolute couch lock. This is an everyday strain and should be in everyone's stash box. Now on the flip side: the medical benefits are perfect for me. I suffer from anxiety and depression and often reach for some heavier indicas but PK has a really nice euphoric effect for me that some heavier strains don't have. It subsides my anxiety and erases my depression so I can just enjoy life for a bit. This is by far my favorite strain ever. Sorry, Bubba Kush.

Tastes..mellow

For me, it's like herbal Xanax or Valium. Best "happy" Indica strain in my opinion. This strain got me through three months of depression living with a high-maintenance, ex-girlfriend while we were trying to "work on the relationship" living next door to each other. This strain gave me the emotional fortitude to endure the emotionally unendurable. Perhaps that shouldn't be a positive, but eventually, we split and this strain helped me get through another tough period of time after. Not a fan of coping with my feelings with weed or alcohol (i.e. numbing myself), but in a pinch, this stuff is pure emotional medicine.

I bought this strain from Whittier HotBox. The color is a dark green with a mild amount of hairs. Impressive purple leaves permeated throughout the very dense flower. It does not have a pungent smell but slight citrus odor due to the SoCal environment. The taste has a strong grape flavor. Further, there is also a hint of citrus equivalent to the smell. The medicinal effects feel both cerebral and physical eliciting a balanced euphoric feeling. The euphoria, however, does not feel to have any physical, lethargic effects. My mind does feel a bit slowed and thus easily relieved my stress/anxiety, but obviously your manual dexterity may be impaired. I have not felt an increase in appetite. The euphoric effects are fairly immediate with the feeling beginning 5-8min after vaporization. However, the euphoria fades in approximately 1.5hrs. Giving it a shorter medicinal half life. Overall, I would recommend this in situations where a better strain cannot be acquired. Personally, purple strains seem to more effective for me. This strain will not be a regular in my library, but if I am in a though spot I'd definitely use it again. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Dark green coloring accompanied by a moderate amount of hairs. Lots of trichomes gives it a frosty look. Smell is on the sweeter side. The vapor is tasty and fairly smooth. I had an upset stomach all day yesterday and Purple Kush really helped me be able sleep and heal. Pretty strong indica effects that helped settle my stomach and allow me to cat-nap. Definitely if you're relaxing or nursing a yucky tummy, this is a strain for you.
