Red Congolese reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Red Congolese.
This has to be the coolest looking bud I have ever smoked. This bud was purchased from Canna-Connoisers in Toronto and is a sativa from the Congo. The stems are thin and the bud covered in red hair to the point that my fingers were extremely sticky after handling, The smell of this strain is earthy and lemony with a herbal like undertone. When smoking, I do not notice the earthy flavour as my mouth is full of a lemon and herb taste. Overall, this is an amazing high that makes me focused and creative.
Beautifully manicured, breaking it up left my fingers oily (not sticky...) Subtle powerful smell made more dramatic by the artistically overlooked dead shrivelled yellow leaves that provide a stark and perfect contrast to the centimetre long shining red hairs.
Rolling it was a dream but getting it lit was an issue at first but I rolled a J and user error is a def possibility...lol.
The taste... It's like this... the smell only made sense to me after I blew out my first lung full. It just made sense, as did the rest of the world for about 1.5 hours. A comfortable buzz that allowed me to power through this review and a bunch of other things I can't remember now.
9 out of 10
Captain's Log: 29 April 12:10P.M.
Amount Consumed: 0.9g
Physical Description: The flower has many Indica like qualities, the most notable being small patches of bright purple bud to contrast the overall darker green hue, as well as her many thick orange hairs.
Taste and Scent Profile: The taste--along with the scent--carries a spicy quality, very reminiscent of the famed "Thai" sativa.
Pros: For those of us who prefer a cerebral high over a body high, this sativa is perfect: it not only makes any sort of couch lock nonexistent, it also promotes a "get up and move around" mentality. Ideal for creatives (or anyone who enjoys the following), Red Congo creates a clear headed high, giving a feeling of separation between ones mind and body.
Cons: For those who don't have the pleasure of living around the bay area, this landrace sativa is quite difficult to come by.
Conclusion: Even though seldom available to people outside of California, she shouldn't be underestimated; Red Congolese gives the user an incredibly compelling and cerebrally-focused high, while causing one to suffer few noticeably negative effects (for me, not even dry mouth), creating a pleasant, memorable experience, that will have even the most Indica-obsessed individual rushing to San Francisco to get more.
Congolese ... hands DOWN the most flavorful strain i personally have ever had the pleasure of putting in my body! As soon as you look at this beautiful piece of nuggetry, the coloration and the hair jump out at you. Almost golden colored. Sweetness is on par with nothing else, its tangy, spicy and leaves an extremely pleasant lasting taste.
Impressive high. More indica like than sativa for me, but in a good way. Mellow, relaxed and happy. WILL 100% be going back for more.
Cheers!

A sold sativa that'll give you a lift, a desire for phat beats and movement. Entrancing aroma while smoking.
Vaping Red Congolese grown by Dragon Fish Farms and it's one of the most euphoric and clear headed sativas I've enjoyed. No worries or fears, just great energetic feelings. Great day medicine and going out dancing energy. I feel very sexy and confident, very ready to go all night and this grows from the earth! Amazing!
Makes me very talkative and confident; would five star it, but it's a little on the racy side.

One of the cleanest sativa highs you'll find. Definitely a morning blend though I think it's good any time of day. Feels like a rush of calm energy to your head that lightly travels down your body. You're both relaxed and ready to be productive at the same time. Glad I discovered it. RC is one of those strains I'll keep on the shelf.
