short term effect. induces depression after effects recede
I picked some up to help me fight pain. I'm always looking for the strains that give good pain relief. I toke a puff or two and got a nice cerebral high nothing too intense just nice, but what this strain did do was turn down the pain I deal with. I have stenosis in my neck and have several tears in my right shoulder rotator cuff and some epic bone spurs. I'm feeling no pain, nice. I feel happy. This strain does not act like an Indica for me. I taste a very earthy taste. The smell is of wood and earth.
Shark Shock is my go to strain for pain. Herniated discs in my back cause chronic pain and sciatica and the intense body high of the Shark Shock takes the edge of the pain. The 1:1 THC:CBD ratio makes for a clear head relaxation that allows me to deal with the pain and still function. I typically take a few hits starting a couple of hours before bed to set me on a course towards bed. The Shark Shock coupled with Purple Punch or Northern Lights helps me get a solid night of much needed sleep, healing and rejuvenation.
I'm making my way around the high CBD strains in my efforts to manage pain/anxiety while sharpening my impression of a mostly-functioning grownup. I like this as my "it's quittin' time" version of ACDC.
It's pretty gentle all-around, so I can see it not appealing to some folks. But, for me it has just enough uplift/focus to be social/engaged, while still having floaty indica quality that let's your brain know you're entering the wind-down hours. I switch between the flower and the Rythm pen for this strain, thumbs up to both.
Great for my anxiety and still able to have an uplifting high to get things done during a busy day. Results were I was productive socially, educationally, and tackled my daily tasks with ease. The depression and anxiety melted away with this strain!
My buddy had ordered some Shark Shock from Redecan. I, of course smoked some myself. I really liked what I saw overall, the buds were a nice size and not too much leaf was left but it still had a ton of crystal. I found it to be nice stuff in my personal opinion so I am going to order from them myself.
I got this in Portland, Oregon as a pre-roll, it was free with a purchase of an 1/8th of Purple Candy (one of my favorite strains). Of course I can’t find it in eastern Washington where I live lol! We’re lucky to have a fine selection, just not these two.
This was a high CBD 16% to THC 4.6% ratio and I have to tell you, it actually had THC feels to it, but absolutely no paranoia, and that’s coming from someone who gets the rapid heartbeat paranoia with certain strains AND I had to go through the airport and catch a flight. Mellow and calm all afternoon, I landed at home and went right to sleep after a long weekend. This was awesome for pain and anxiety for me. For those who are very sensitive to the negatives of THC but still want to feel a nice high and help with pain, this is for you.
Unfortunately, due to Canada's legalizing cannabis. Trying to get CBD on my medicinal site was next to nothing. so I went on to my rec site and found this gem.
I was Mellow, stopped anxiety attacks, I was able to clean my house, listen to music. EAT!
sounds like a normal day for others, but I have PTSD, Anxiety and depression.
I have spent years on antidepressants, and was so much better in quality of life. Best thing was I was able to French braid my daughters hair. I have nerve damage from Carpal Tunnel.
