Sour Diesel reviews

Love this strain, but I'm confused about something. If Sour Diesel is a mix of Chem, super skunk and northern lights, then how can it be mostly Sativa. Super skunk and Northern Lights are both Indica's and the true genetics of ChemDog are up for debate, but i don't think that is purely a Sativa. So if All three strains that make up Sour Diesel have or are Indica's then how did you come up with Sour Diesel being a Sativa

I really like this particular strain. Sour D has seemed to have helped me focus less on stress and depression. Very heady, the buzz sits right behind my eyes. This is nice but can leave you feeling a little dizzy or have eye strain. Clear thought high that wont leave you too deep in thought or slow. Highly recommend Sour D as a basic sativa that wont inhibit you from doing anything or avoiding any situation. Enjoy.

Ed Rosenthal is probably right about the Mexican Sativa heritage. I've smoked alot of Mexican dirt-weed living near the border for 40 years and that's exactly what Sour D. reminds me of. With all the deliciously refined strains there are to chose from, why growers chose this one is beyond me. Bad aroma and even worse flavor: earthy, tobacco, like dirty. Yeah, it fucks you up, but not in any interesting sort of way. Very nervous and uninspiring buzz.

My copilot loaded this device that filtered the smoke through water with a pebble of sour diesel and immediately it was like I took a blast of grey goose vodka. Felt very chill and upbeat. This strain is a total food magnet. I had two bags of nuts that I planned to use for a recipe and my co-chairman and I blew through both of them in 20 mins. I went outside and was looking into the sky and nearby I heard some rock music, perhaps a band practicing in their garage or a neighbor with a really nice stereo setup, anyhow suddenly my arms and body was moving in time with the drum solos, like I was controlling each drum with every movement in my joints. Then my neck started chickening and I felt like my neck was nailing all these guitar licks I could hear. I went inside soon after that happened. The burnout is pretty sudden, like you're not paying attention and suddenly the brakes are slammed and your mom is putting her arm in front of you so you don't fly out. Nice smoke, don't recommend it if you're like trying to fly under the radar at work or family dinner though.

Excellent morning and daytime strain for medicating when focus and energy are required. Melts stress away almost immediately with no adverse affects on productivity. Strong enough to satisfy my urge for a good, strong Sativa.

Always a classic. A dirtier high that leaves you cloudy and foggy on the come down. Insanely powerful, but I have found best if used in the evening with some friends, convient for a bed time crash.
