Always a classic. A dirtier high that leaves you cloudy and foggy on the come down. Insanely powerful, but I have found best if used in the evening with some friends, convient for a bed time crash.

Excellent morning and daytime strain for medicating when focus and energy are required. Melts stress away almost immediately with no adverse affects on productivity. Strong enough to satisfy my urge for a good, strong Sativa.

Picked up a qtr. of Sour D at a dispensary the other day. Outstanding bag appeal, sweet, citrus/lemon smell, lime green, dense and very sticky nuggets. Hitting this strain in my pipe, I immediately notice that it burns extremely smooth with no cough or irritation at all. The taste was very lemon (like sour, lemon candy) and stayed on my lips & toungue for a while. VERY tasty weed! Makes me want to keep on smoking it just for the taste. But, the high it produces is not very strong, IMO. VERY sativa-dominant effect with some giggles and an a happy feeling that ddn't last that long. Can make you talkative as well. Great socializing bud! No yawn, no burnout but you get a fairly short, dreamy high from a very sticky, sweet(lemon)-smelling, smooth-burning smoke with great bag appeal for sure! Just not an intense, or long enough high for me.

Ed Rosenthal is probably right about the Mexican Sativa heritage. I've smoked alot of Mexican dirt-weed living near the border for 40 years and that's exactly what Sour D. reminds me of. With all the deliciously refined strains there are to chose from, why growers chose this one is beyond me. Bad aroma and even worse flavor: earthy, tobacco, like dirty. Yeah, it fucks you up, but not in any interesting sort of way. Very nervous and uninspiring buzz.

Sour Diesel is one of my favorite strains. It's mostly sativa (90% saliva) so it gives a nice head high so you feel awake, productive, and creative. It's a great morning toke or pre-active toke since you want to move around with this one instead of being locked to the couch. It has a nice citrus smell to it and it leaves a pleasant taste in your mouth, so this one is one you won't regret!

it's only ok. You feel it fast but it also ends fast. Good, maybe if you don't chill often.

The sour diesel strain is one of those strains that will fuck you up even if you are the most seasoned smoke, very aromatic.like everyone could be smoking weed around you and smell your shit over theirs.also like I said its a very intense high.ours great to party with because you will be laughing, having a great time and not giving a fuck
