Durban Poison reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Durban Poison.
It's THE ONE. If I ever tried my hand at growing, I've already pre-promised myself I'd do a simple as pie landrace Durban Poison, no frills. It's one of those things the Gods put on Earth as is for our pleasure and it's already perfect. No tweaking needed. Although i have definitely had some great hybrids with a Durban lineage, such as Grapefruit Durban from the Cresco Brand here in PA. But the whole thing is just one big event of creative and energetic euphoria. If you're a music maker, this is definitely a strain for you. Get the brain working in addition to providing a clarity that doesn't kill the buzz, only hones it to a more perfect blend of effects. It's the ultimate wake-n-bake when it comes to landrace sativa in my opinion. I've had different batches with different smells. Usually piney and sweet with a hint of that "cat pee" smell, as some people have said. I definitely smell the "cat pee" but my wife hates when I say that because it sounds gross, lol. But it's just this funky ammonia thing going on, I guess that's where the hint of old urine comes from? It sounds silly, but trust me, you'll get a batch one day and think "do I have a cat now, and where did it pee?". I feel like that last line doesn't fit well into such a positive review, but trust me, no matter how that stank stanks, Durban Poison is a surefire classic that will never let you down.
This strain does not check all the boxes, medically, for me. But holy hell there is nothing better for my MDD than Durban Poison. The taste is like grass, so nothing stands out in the flavor category, but the effects make this one of my Mount Rushmore strains. I instantly feel uplifted, and then it brings a clean energy while my breathing noticeably slows down. I feel like I am getting twice the oxygen to my lungs, and my ability to focus on a project for work is on-point. This is the ultimate working strain if your job requires sustained attention or even “thinking outside the box”. In smaller doses, the positive effects of treating my depression and ADHD are still there, and nobody can tell I am medicated. The only negative is this does nothing for my chronic joint pain, but I don’t care. I can accept the pain while using it.
Hands down the best strain Ever. The problem is this industry had overhybridized everything and RUINED the weed. Now, good luck finding Durban Poison. And if you do, it probably won't have the distinct powerful smell and taste it once had. A real shame how these big companies have so quickly ruined the weed industry.

GOOD, but not the Sativa I was Expecting....
I like this Strain.... but tbh... it doesn't feel like a Strong enough Sativa for Me...I dont feel Strong SATIVA EFFECTS... however it does give me Happy Vibez 😊
Bought an eighth from Full Moonz in Northern MA, a classic strain inspired by my old man introducing me to the older varieties. A woody and pine nose followed by a faintly chemical but woody flavor gets the party going. This strain is indeed a party! It keeps you active, you’re gonna want to indulge in video games, something creative, or something sexy after having this because it does indeed heighten everything! Heck even watching soccer highlights is fantastic. Downside to this is that you wake up (if you do it late night like I do) feeling like a vampire on a day pass: groggy, hungover-like, and craving sweet energy drinks. A day strain for sure but a good night strain if you’re not ready for bed quite yet ;)
Gained some stoner lbs, on a quest to find what statins don’t give em the munchies. Not only did I find this one and have been able to diet on it, it’s just genuinely one of the best highs I’ve ever had.
This is the best sativa in the world. However, the taste and smell is very peppery. It is hard for me to smoke this just because of the funky taste. It smells like I am making a roast. I just can't get over the taste/smell. But otherwise, it is the best sativa I've ever tried. It wakes you up better than coffee. Do not do it before bed though.
oh man I like this one, very creative, good mood, focused and getting things done
