King Louis reviews
I bought the King Louis by Curio Exclusive in MD. I absolutely love this strain by Curio, it is DJ Shorts Flo x Pure Kush. I smoke it the evening for relaxation and sleep. I have insomnia, anxiety and chronic pain, the King Louie eliminates these ailments. I feel it in my head first, then it goes down my spine. once my entire body is soothed by this miracle strain, I can actually breathe again, my body is completely relaxed and my mind is free of bad thoughts, and/or racing thoughts…I can’t get upset or mad while on this strain, I feel too good. I’m also able to sleep through the night, which my pain usually does not allow, I’m very happy about that and I wake up refreshed, no hangover.
I hope this strain sticks around, I keep buying it, so I’ll miss it if they take it off the shelf. Then I’ll have to search for another new strain all over again.
When medical marijuana first came to Maryland in 2018, strains were so good and prices were affordable, $35 an eighth. I didn’t have to worry if my strains wouldn’t be on the shelves. Since it turned legal, it has not been the same. Strains that stuck around left and replaced with hybrids that are quadrupled and bx1 or bx3 times. I love a good hybrid, but most now seem to be over crossed. I miss all the good strains, not the B,C or T 2,3 level crap, just a good bud that makes me feel better. That’s what the King Louis is, good medicine/bud that gets me feeling happy, relaxed, and I feel better physically and mentally.
I'm a medical patient. Bought this strain from reviews that it was a good one to help with sleep. I've had difficulty finding the right strain for me that works for sleep and had high (pun intended!) hopes that this one would work as Granddaddy Purple didn't even work for me. Took 2 deep hits from a vape pen connected to a bubbler. Took about 10-15 minutes to hit, but when it did, it did. Almost felt a tad too stoned at first, but this subsided quickly. The relaxation kicked in after that and it was perfect. Body muscles relaxed and, surprisingly, it cleared up my eye problem! Added bonus! I suffer from cervical nerve entrapment which affects my vision (blurred, double and dry eyes) which makes it difficult and uncomfortable to read, watch TV, etc. After taking 2 tokes, my vision issues ceased to exist! I could not believe the relief I got. Unfortunately, it didn't make me tired or help with sleep much, if at all, but this is my new favorite just for the eye relief that it gives me. I noticed that when the high wore off, my vision problems quickly returned. Would definitely recommend this strain.
King Louis XIII is up in the top 3 of my favorite strains of all time. A fantastic strain for those who suffer with Chronic illness/chronic pain! The almost cola-like flavor is a wonderful complement to the all-body high this strain will give you- boy, can this stuff make you forget your own name! Not *incredibly* strong, but a sedating effect that will leave you giggling like a kid. This is also an AMAZING option for sleep! If I lay down for more than a minute I’m OUT like a light. I find I love this strain most when I’m watching my favorite TV show, relaxing on the couch after work with a tasty drink or a bowl of ramen. Overall I highly recommend!
I’m a pretty seasoned smoker and usually have a good sense of what to expect from a new strain. I picked up King Lewis after reading a bunch of solid reviews, especially about it being great for sleep.
Took a few puffs on my vape and… not much happened at first. I’m a moderate user, so I can usually feel something pretty quick, but this one took its time. Like, I didn’t really feel much of anything for a good 15–20 minutes, which was weird for me—normally that first hit hits.
Eventually, maybe 30–45 minutes later, I did fall asleep, so it wasn’t a total miss. It just didn’t wow me. Not bad, just not what I was hoping for. Probably wouldn’t grab it again. Still on the hunt for something that hits like Granddaddy Purple
Was just about to take a T break... and came across this strain....T break is definitely on hold.... can't describe the flavor.. sorta like smoking a wet dog...reminds me of a strain called Lambs Breath in the 80s...
The ABSOLUTE BEST insomnia strain I have ever found and I’ve tried at least 100. I wish someone could explain what it is that makes it work so well. Granddaddy Purple, OG Kush, GG#4 none of the ones people say work for insomnia help me at all. King Louis is so effective I only need to take about 4 or 5 puffs at bedtime and I go from alert to instant drowsy, pleasant and any anxiety just doesn’t have any effect any more. I can think about my worries and stresses and it like my mind considers them more logically vs emotionally, I just don’t have an overreaction to them.
Unfortunately it’s hard to find in flower form, only pods which Stizzy seems the best. I do t really trust pods to be all that healthy so I’d love to find what exactly makes KL work so well and find another strain with the same effects that’s in stock in flower form.
For me it’s a bit of a creeper but once it hits, I’m super relaxed enough to rest or sleep comfortably for hours. Which helps me because I have insomnia and chronic pain.
Godsend for PTSD
Relaxed, warm blanket feeling. But you are aware enough to maybe get over and figure out some trauma.
Damn…. I needed this 🥲
