Northern Lights reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Northern Lights.
This strain definitely lives up to the hype! Wonderful, pleasant, tingly body high in which your mind is still alert and conversation flows easily. You feel peaceful and euphoric. Plus, it has a nice piney scent like some far-north evergreen forest...
Classic starry-eyed indica that deserves its marvelous reputation. Superb medicine, both physical and mental. No exaggeration, probably my favorite go-to strain after a long day of physical labor. Your lower back will love you. Migraines be gone.
What I love about Northern Lights is that it's such a level-headed indica, meaning it will do all those beautiful indica things to you but not get you stupid, dysfunctional high. IMO, one of the few true indicas that you could get away with in the daytime (though probably not at work). Nighttime is great too though, weather you're chilling by the fire, chatting with friends, or taking a bubble bath.
A very nice, calm thoughtful stoned feeling that sends ripples of peace through your limbs, from ankles to shoulders and up and down your spine. Brain quiets way down, excellent for ADHD or Anxiety as it just shuts up all those negative voices and focuses on the good and simple things in life.
Vaping the bud, I got a nice blend of pine, rosemary, and clove. A very yummy milky smoke too, and a pleasant honey-like smell that follows. I kid you not--I got a cinnamon roll aftertaste, too. Burnt marshmallow, fuck yeah.
Also, for those who grow, Northern Lights is a terrific plant for home grow-op, even from seed. Low, bushy, not-stinky plants that top out at 1 meter, provide plenty of flower and smell sweet. Harvests quickly, cures nicely, and lasts a long time. I got nearly a pound off two plants!
I also made tincture with the stems and leaves and popcorn buds, and let me tell you, that stuff will put you to sleep for a solid 9 hours, and no hangover!
Anyway, do it. Don't skip over it because it's a classic and pretty universal. There's a reason why. None of these crazy trendy new strains can hold a candle to this indica princess. Smoke enough and you'll glow stronger than Aurora Borealis.
Starts as relaxing. Moves to giggly. Then sappy emotional and then horney
FavoriteStrain! Kicks anxiety away with a strong Head High, Numbness and Body Melting Felling, Puts you Very High, Sleepy and Numb, very good for lack of appetite and strong insomnia...
Was looking 4 a Good Couchlock Strain for Insomnia with a strong Euphoria and, i Find it
Heavy sedating indica with strong couch lock. The right choice to stay at home and relax, my favorite for sleep time.
This strain is amazing for general anxiety and helping with pain. I smoked this and after about 10 minutes I was in the couch locked to the TV and I never watch TV. Music sounds better, food taste amazing. An overall good strain for the evening and maximum chilling.
Ahh...yes, the Christmas Bud. Every year of my youth hippies would take turns driving to BC to pick up this strain, and now I remember why. This is dank personified.
I'm vaping 3 different flowers right now, Northern Lights, Platinum OG Koffee, and Grape Lime Rickey, when I want to forget everything, and have the most numbing experience, it's Northern Lights, this incredible Firelands Scientific growth will hit you upside the head. The buds still look like pine needles, smell of pine, and taste of the cold wilderness. What a high.
P.S. everyone else's reviews are exactly right, the best, the original, the Northern Lights, sky high😎.
LOVE THIS STRAIN! I have Crohn's disease which sent me to the hospital for a week near the end of last year. After that I needed to switch my meds to Entyvio which is known to have symptoms including headache and joint pain. Not only do I get these symptoms, but I also lose my appetite completely (I have lost so much weight that my doctor has even recommended I don't exercise until we can stabilize my weight). Although this hasn't helped me regain my appetite during the couple of weeks after treatment, it helps IMMENSELY with nausea and pain. I will try to get my high calorie smoothies in which can cause my stomach to also get upset, and just a couple of inhales of Northern Lights everything is all good in the world and I don't feel any of those negative effects. Not super sedating in my opinion, if you're not feeling well I find it actually gives you energy by removing the the negative side effects.
