Oregon Pinot Noir reviews
This is not a Sativa.....this is a 80/20 Indica Dominant strain. Whoever is the leafley reviewer please fix your description and do your homework. Grown this for several years. Never does it look like a Sativa.
When grinded has a sweet earthy grape skunk aroma. while smoking has an intoxicating exotic sweet candy berry aroma. Immediate effects to the dome. euphoria and body tingles felt. A great strain was mis labeled as "sour pinot" had opn before recognize the aroma and effects. if you see this strain buy it. its basically like "sour grapes" from the mid 2000's. bay area styled grapes!!!! I am zooted and I have a tolerance but this strain always smacks. newbies take it easy with this one.
I had gone to one of my local dispensaries on several occasions and had seen this one with interest, but had kept passing it up for stronger strains or better deals. It kind of fell into that price area where is rather spend a little more for (seemingly) a lot stronger bud, or I'd rather pay a little more for a lot more quantity of something cheaper. However, it always stood out to me because of the name...and it looked beautiful. Solid sticky buds coated with a light golden and hue of trichomes...and the buds have shades of deep olive and that ever coveted purple.
I finally purchased it today...just a gram. The smell is AMAZING! Definite grape tones with that perfect balance of fruity earthiness. The taste is without a doubt top 3 best I've ever tasted! Juicy, floral, with that pungent ammonia quality you'd expect from a potent strain. And to segway from there to the high...it was FOR SURE POTENT! I was fortunate enough to have not smoked much the last couple days leading up to Oregon Pinot, so i was able to feel the high very clearly. It is an incredibly relaxed and yet social high. I have never tried a sativa dominant strain that has given a high that was so comfortable in any environment. Makes me hungry, but not ravenous...i actually enjoy the idea of preparing a good meal more than running out to eat quickly. Just an all around ideal high for my tastes...i will probably end up buying out the rest of what they have at the dispensary. I would say that this strain is one of the greatest i have ever come across...10/10!
I picked this up because of the grape flavor I've heard so much about. Had no idea it was NOT considered an indica!!!! Just heard of it around town here in Portland.
I am hoping that someone with the appropriate knowledge (I obviously don't have it) can explain how and why this is listed as a Sativa.
I don't know how this is a sativa. The effects feel much more like an indica or indica-dominant hybrid, with couch lock and a relaxing body high. I like it, but wouldn't use it if I need to get things done.

Long before having a chance to get my hands on this strain there was a strong fascination for the name. Moving from the east coast 15 years ago to Oregon one of the most charming aspects of the Willamette Valley was all the wineries. So when hearing the name of this strain and seeing that both the parents are flowers I enjoy very much there was no doubt it was a must try strain.
So finally about a year later OPN showed up for 5 dollars a gram at one of my favorite dispensaries. It was a great deal for a not so common strain so my detective hat went on knowing something had to be up. This particular grow did not turn the usual deep purple that is one of its trademarks, but instead had some purple weaved throughout vein like.
That is fine with me being it is something I've heard of happening before with other strains. Something about the type of light spectrum that is emitted while plant is growing. What little trepidation leftover was all gone after my first toke of this bud. The taste and smell were both similarly overshadowed by a really overly sweet honey smell. Def a noticeable grape hint and third diesel like zing gave a unique odor like a baby vomited up a jar of grape flavored honey and gasoline. Neat to say the least.
Enjoyed the terpenes a lot and that was good enough for me. The high was very boring for my tastes with something missing. Not a huge fan of the type of stoned where all you can think about is getting higher because the satisfaction was never really reached like it was in the flavor. Maybe it was another factor in the type of lighting used, but this was more a straight down the middle hybrid type buzz. The actual buds were a medium density breaking apart really nicely for rolling a doobie.
Look forward to trying the Oregon Pinot Noir again with some deeper purple buds to compare. For anything lacking the flavor more then made up for.
this is maybe my favorite right now. it acts like an indica and is very relaxing. the aroma is like a sweet berry and almost has a sweet grape like taste to it. its poppin with trichomes and the buds are sticky and kinda fluffy. if you havent had this i recommend trying. it might even put u to sleep.

OMG. Absolutely amazing high. Gorgeous, deep olive green buds. Very unique, both in the way it looks and the high it gives. Although 80% Sativa, w/ a wonderful, creative cerebral high w/out being speedy or inducing paranoia, it also has a strong, relaxing feel of an indica w/out inducing a brain-sucking couch-lock. Perfect strain👌, in my opinion. Note: this strain is 25-28% THC, so definitely not for light wieghts. But it's worth getting your tolerance up to try it.😉
