Raspberry Kush reviews
Migraine pain undeterminable; nausea 8 when I medicated round 0600 or so. Takes bout 10 min to start working. Pain gone; nausea all but gone (3-4). Nausea has been really awful period; no matter what. No anxiety/paranoia which is a Godsend for me. Body high allowed me to get some much needed sleep as I slept really poor last night. Head high heavy as hell which is exactly what I needed/wanted. Top quality sleeper bud & tatses wonderful too! Highly recommend for nighttime use for pain/nausea/insomnia! Love dis one! :-)
Bag appeal: 3-4/5
Depends on the harvest and the individual buds I get - sometimes typical conical green with orange hairs, sometimes hints of deep purple, nearly black with tons of long bright orange hairs.
Scent: 3/5
Solid and deep wild raspberry with some extra earthy funk. It’s high quality, just not my favorite terp profile archetype in terms of smell. High myrcene (1%+) giving that natural fresh picked raspberry flavor. Medium/low piney but mostly earthy expression of pinene. Slight caryophylene spice, giving it some extra funk. And a noticeable amount of Ocimene.. (~.1-.3%)+. Ocimene gives a minty, bright flavor and seems to round off the other smells- keeping it sweet.
Flavor: 4-5/5
If the batch is higher in Ocimene than usual (.3%+), this strain tastes amazing. Otherwise it’s still very good, noting the lowest terp % I’ve seen is 2.7. I saw someone said they notice a raspberry yogurt flavor, and that seems to nail it on the head. Extra creamy if there’s more caryophylene in the batch.
Smoke vs. Vaporizer: You get more of the deep earthy flavor when it’s smoked, so it’s closer to mango than raspberry on some hits. With the vaporizer you get more of that bright, sweet, creamy raspberry flavor.
Effect: 5/5
While this “weed archetype” isn’t my favorite to smell (similar to Maui Wowie, sweet island skunk, etc..), it had some of my favorite effects. Myrcene tends to feel sleepy and couch locky for me, especially over 1%. Pinene helps keep it more clearheaded. Caryophylene gives you that feel good comfort. Ocimene once again, rounds it all off, giving it a sort of tipsy headspace. Sleepy and tipsy, yet clear and comforting. I’d say this is a perfect strain for a very lowkey day at the beach, bedtime/wind down ritual, chillin with close friends and shooting the shit. I must note that this strain seems to relieve some general muscle aches and pains more than most other strains. After a decent joint, my muscles auto relax.
Overall, a great strain if you enjoy the tropical/floral class of ganja. Think of the sweet, earthy, floral stuff. If you like Maui Wowie or any mango flavored strains you’ll certainly love this kush. It’s got the soothing and relaxing headspace that can fix a day going off the rails, but if you smoke too much you may need a nap 😴.
Raspberry Kush is a top shelf strain, especially considering the quality at its price point. I spent $30 on a quarter, sitting at 17% thc and 3.2% terps 😯.. That’s the exact way I like my numbers, seems to give the longest lasting and most holistic high.
Migraine pain undeterminable; nausea 8 when I medicated round 0200 or so. Takes bout 10 min to start working. Pain gone; nausea all but gone (3-4). No anxiety/paranoia (an absolute must for me). Body high allowed me sleep & quickly which is exactly what I needed. Head high as heavy as I've experienced but had not slept yet last night. Thought maybe I wuz goin crazy. Raspberry Kush saved my sleep big time. Highly recommend for nighttime use for pain/nausea/insomnia. A fav sleeping bud for sure! :-)
The strain is excellent for increased focus, pain relief, relaxation, stress relief, and creativity.
The strain reminds me of Strawberry Cough due to the fact the way the vapors hit.
However it went down smooth had a tiny cough. Was able to cook something creative and new on it.
Also the cerebral high got stronger as I was cooking also this strain isn't a creeper.
The moment you hit your first puff you will feel it and it will peak up!

⭐️tastes just like it's named with a pucker and licking of lips to follow there is a second round of uber sweet fruity flavor. This strong & unusual taste overwhelmed the Kush side of this strain. With the Kush adding the creamy, smoother side to taste giving it a yummy dessert like palate there was a need for more balance. Not sure if this is common in the strain or if it was just the way it was grown?
☄️The smell on the other hand did have a beautiful balance between the splendid raspberry tartness meshing in perfect orgy with the musky, smooth Kush taste. Smell was phenomenal only leaving a strong desire for the taste to match which lost points when failing to meet that criteria.
💫Sight was not much to look at with hairs & green of flower blending together to make an unremarkable shade of meshed brown with puke green.
💥Medium to dense buds that were moist which made them burn a little unevenly. Contemplating this flower a little further it is suspected to be good for baking for cooking sweets.
🌟 Up until this point amidst the few other negative aspects this flower could have still earned 4 points knowing there are ugly tasteless throat burning strains out there that offer quality heady highs with medicinal qualities. For me, much of the time, the high is the sugar that helps the medicine go down if you know what I mean? With this strain it could be said the opposite for the body got the message of relaxation & warmth while the head went in the other direction unable to shut down. Felt claustrophobic & confining which was a consistent feel every time partaking in this strain. This is a reaction usually following a middle ground hybrid which is caused me to steer clear of them, but was not expected here so it is specific to my chemical nature so should not steer anybody away from trying it themselves Being a strong Kush fan (in fact Hindu being my favorite) there is a strong hesitance in writing this review so in all fairness would like to try some Razzberry Kush edibles which my gut tells me would enhance the flavor to many sweets also creating a more favorable restful buzz for me. Surprises like this are part of the adventure of being cannabis crusaders opening our minds to learning about, experiencing & sharing with other like minded folks.
Not giving up on you Razzberry Kush, but for now my greatest apologies three stars ✨
As a guitarist and someone that loves Art or just a intellectual conversation between friends; Ras Kush is my new go to. It was Blue Dream but that strain dont seem the same anymore. I've been searching for a strain like blue dream or better and thank God the search is over.
I fully recommend this strain for writers, song writers, painters, philosophers, ect for a keen and philosophical thought process that helps you make sense of the things when you think outside the box. It also provides an overall feeling of calm, happiness, and the thought that "I'm not rich, far from it, but I'm content with what I have and the family and friends I have."
Now I have tried the Select Strains' vape concentrate of Raspberry Kush, but the flower Razzberry Kush might be different, I'm not sure, though they do seem to share a lot of qualities so I'm reviewing it here. I picked up this indica flower at Glisan Buds, it is stinky dank, and what I am smoking tonite. The bud smells like deep, ripe raspberry with masculine musk undertones. The first inhale goes on like a velvet glove, and YOU are ready for the soirée.
If you are looking for something cerebral, something to spark your creativity, stare at artwork for an hour... Razzberry might not be for you. Razzberry is physical, a light caress on the cheek, a glass of pinot noir on a December night, hot breath on a window pane.
Mine tested at 18.57% THC and .31% CBD. What can I say, I really like this one a lot. Not sure if it's in my top 5, but could easily be in my top 10 for sure.
Razzberry is a dreamy strain. It's very relaxing, but won't put you to sleep either. You're somewhere in between both worlds. I'm enjoying floating here.
This review is for the iLava clear gold Raspberry Kush vape cart. I bought this from D2 in Tucson, AZ
First, the taste was odd. like a raspberry soap or perfume. not intolerable, just...odd. The smell was of raspberries and cream.
This strain provided a nice head high. I first noticed I was smiling more and in a good mood. The happy and euphoria kept ramping up. Never got giggly though.
A slight head high started to creep in, and I felt full body relaxation paired with a creative mind.
As I let myself come down from this high my relaxation turned into my getting sleepy and not realizing I had dozed off. Once I woke I still felt a little of the head high and also noticed a fairly significant feeling of arousal. (I am normally a low sexual person bordering on being asexual)
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars not 5 is that it didn't help my pain as much as I wanted it to.
I would recommend this strain for anyone dealing with stress, depression, mood swings, anxiety, minor pain, lack of appetite, or insomnia.
I did experience pretty bad dry eyes and mouth from this, so have the eye drops and drink nearby. also had some mild munchies, drowsiness, poor memory, unclear thinking, and general lack of ability to understand and articulate.
Overall it's a great strain for being happy and letting go of your stress at the end of a long day and sending you seamlessly into a wonderful sleep.
