Gardens and landscapes: Broadcast and incorporate up to 1 kg per 2.5 m2 (2.2 lbs per 25 ft2). Apply up to a maximum of 4 kg per 2.5 m2 (8.8 lbs per 25 ft2) annually.

Turf: For single applications, broadcast up to 2.8 kg per 25 m2 (23 lbs per 1000 ft2). Apply up to a maximum of 6 kg per 25 m2 (50 lbs per 1000 ft2) annually. Water turf thoroughly after application. Only apply to actively growing turf.

In addition to feeding plants, alfalfa meal adds nutrients to enhance soil microbial activity, which contributes to improved moisture retention and reduced soil compaction. GAIA GREEN Alfalfa Meal improves the activity and overall nutritional value of compost, especially when combined with GAIA GREEN Glacial Rock Dust. This product is recommended for home gardens, landscapes, and turf, and is suitable for a full range of plant types.

Gardens and landscapes: Broadcast and incorporate up to 10 kg per 25 m2 (8 lbs per 100 ft2). Apply up to a maximum of 40 kg per 25 m2 (32 lbs per 100 ft2) annually.
Turf: For single applications, broadcast up to 2.8 kg per 25 m2 (23 lbs per 1000 ft2). Apply up to a maximum of 8 kg per 25 m2 (66 lbs per 1000 ft2) annually. Water turf thoroughly after application. Only apply to actively growing turf.
Pre-mixing soil for hanging baskets, potted plants, and planter boxes: Blend at a rate of 90 ml per 4 L (6 tbsp per gallon) of soil or growing medium.

Gaia Green DIATOMACEOUS EARTH
GAIA GREEN Diatomaceous Earth is a naturally occurring sedimentary rock, consisting of fossilized remains of diatoms - silica rich, single-celled algae. This soil amendment encourages retention of water and nutrients, while draining freely and allowing high oxygen circulation within the growing medium.

Gaia Green Diatomaceous Earth is commonly used in/on soil as a pest killer. Lightly sprinkle dry Gaia Green Diatomaceous Earth on the soil's surface where bugs, fungus gnats, or other unwanted pests will come into direct contact with the dry particles. The particles cut the bugs and slowly dry them out.

BENEFITS
Improves soil porosity and moisture retention.
Buffers soil pH and remineralizes the soil.
Helps condition the soil for improved plant performance.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To help improve soil structure and water holding capacity, apply 500 g per m2 of area (1 lb per 10 ft2), and mix thoroughly into the soil. Apply once per year.
