My favorite dispensary in Vancouver for so many reasons. Here is why they stand out: 1. They are Involved in the local community (DTES) which has serious social issues that need attention. 2. Friendly and courteous staff.. .all the ladies behind the counter and the security dudes make you feel welcome and safe. Their menu is diverse with all the winning strains and it changes which is awesome. They are happy to give advice and they are honest. They are always knowledgeable enough to do their jobs well; some more than others but if they can't answer your question, they always ask their more knowledgeable staff for the information you are looking for... they care and it shows. This is great thing as I find the level of knowledge to be lacking at many dispensaries; I am not looking or expecting for PHD's in pot, but they are always competent here which is great. 3. Their daily specials are awesome and great! The pricing is reasonable but not the cheapest but do represent great value. 4. This is a no frills kinda place.. neat, professional. The product has never let me down, always high quality buds. Because of the neighborhood and safety for everybody, they keep the weed and themselves behind a glass window. It's not a big deal for me, but it should be said. They will gladly hold the jars up for you to look and smell but it is behind glass. I hope this helps. Gunna be honest.. I am a huge dtes supportee, and love visiting the neighborhood, I tend to venture with a friend as a bit of a chicken move, being a girl... Also not a ton of dispensary experience. I called in first and found out the process was painless.. I was a bit nervous going in, as it is a little more.. "safety concerned" settup than I was used to. I didn't wait long, and tbe young man who served me took his time plucking stems off for me before weighing.. I was STUNNED.. and oh so grateful. My nervousness faded quickly and by time I left, I had forgotten I was nervous... And I hadn't even smoked yet. Medication is fat more efficient than any previously used dispensary product, and you've gained a new loyal customer. Thank you!!

I had to leave Vancouver for like 8 months and I'm so glad you guys are still there. I've been buying here for a while, even when I moved to Kits I just timed my buys to when I came downtown so I could get it here. I love the daily deals and the staff that's always friendly :)

I visit the Farm weekly. It's 1 block from my place and located in beautiful Gastown, Vancouver. They are socially conscious, and support the diverse community it's situated in. The employees are SO friendly and always share a good laugh with me. The deals are badass! So many good strains!! Always new stuff coming in! There is no smokers lounge, but I'm not into that anyway. This is the BEST DISPENSARY IN VANCOUVER IMO!! Love you Farm, Johnny Bass

When I walked into this place I was sure I'd made a mistake and that it wasn't the same as the one that has 4.7 stars on Leafly. The entrance was obstructed by drunken homeless people lying on the sidewalk, one of whom was smoking something so nasty that all of the staff and customers inside the shop were literally having coughing fits. If you look at the address listed here, this is not in Gastown like another review says, this is smack on Main and E. Hastings, the epicentre of Vancouver's out-of-control homelessness epidemic. I don't want to sound like some snob who complains if he has to walk through a sketchy neighbourhood, and I'm extremely sympathetic to the people who are forced to be in these kinds of conditions, but in terms of being a customer at Farm the smell of piss alone is enough to make it an unpleasant experience. Inside it's a bright, bare room cut in half by a counter with a plexiglass window to keep people from robbing them. I could barely hear the clerk through the hole in the glass and she could barely hear me. When I asked if she had any strain recommendations beyond what I'd come there to buy she gave me a blank look and said she didn't really. However, if price is the main thing you care about they are cheaper than any place else I've seen (so at least they're putting what they save on rent into a better deal for their customers). Wasn't blown away by the quality of what I bought but it was on par with plenty I've had from other shops. That said, I won't be making the trip back unless they have a strain that can't be found anywhere else.

In regards to addiction, we subscribe to a school of thought termed 'harm reduction'. This practise seeks to reduce or minimize the adverse health and social consequences of drug use without requiring an individual to discontinue drug use altogether. Many residents of our community choose to use or just simply hang out near our shop because they feel safe and unstigmatized by our approach to community relations & cannabis dispensing. Also, we are trained to administer Narcan and are in close proximity to a safe injection site and with a fentanyl crises, it is extremely important not to use alone incase an overdose occurs. Your comment on our interior design is apt - we've chosen to invest in a security system and a space that can accommodate carts, bikes and pets. Maybe not your thing but we're pretty into being safe and inclusive. We wish you the best of luck finding a space that meets your needs.

Today was my 1st visit to the Farm on Columbia Small space but these guys know their stuff. up front with all their product and it's very welcoming. Lots of great deals every day for patients trying to spend less money and get the most out of their meds. The staff was super friendly and well educated about all their products (not all dispensaries are, sadly). Service was quick and the product was superb -- these guys don't carry any bunk weed -- and all the herbs are stored properly in GLASS jars. I got nothing but good things to say about the place.

I love the quality of weed and the different deals offered daily. Customer service is great for the most part, many of the girls behind the counter know my membership number by heart. I have had some issues with a shaved headed woman working behind the counter who is short with me because I am a young girl who she is either judging or is jealous of. The owner is very kind and had gone out of his way to say hi to me. The farm is located in a less desirable area of Vancouver, but the quarters are very nice and clean. I have switched from my old dispensary (lime life) to the Farm because of weed quality and deals. Thanks!

Sure these grams are pricey but you get what you pay for. I worked 60 hrs a week all year long and i finally was able to purchase those 12$ grams. I sparked it and you you could immediately tell these wasn't your average lettuce. they may have the same amount of form, comfort, shape, and performance but they are WAY more stylish. Like 3,000$ stylish. The catch tho!! Sometimes my daughter complains, though she'll say things like "Are we going to eat tonight?" and "I'm tired of sleeping on the streets!" but then I just show her my bomb ass dank and she shuts her little bitch month!! Great weed, do recommend!!

These guys are absolutely awesome! I went in with one question and walked out with a half ounce of dank meds. They got hella strains to choose from and all their employees know what's what when it comes to strains and medicinal benefits. The atmosphere -- dope. And the chronic was even doper! This is an excellent location. Perfect place for people to get their medicine, considering it is right next to Hastings. The quality of the product ranges from decent to very top quality cannabis. I have never been disappointed in the premium strains. The service and customer care has been great I have had no problems and they were always very patient with my needs. Atmosphere is nice. You get to see all the selection of available strains.
