1/2 Cherry Pie, 1/4 Mexican Sativa, 1/4 Industrial Hemp. This strain originated in the upper Midwest using hemp for two reasons: 1) To acclimate to shorter summers and cold evenings, and 2) to increase the CBD content.
I've tried this strain at two different harvest times:
Early harvest (mix of clear and cloudy trichs): Much like a mid grade sativa- uplifting, happy, creative, energy and focus
Later harvest (mix of cloudy and amber trichs): Resembles a mellow indica- relaxing, mostly clear-headed, pain relieving, appetite stimulating, followed by downright drowsiness.
This is an excellent strain for lower back pain, and other joint/muscle aches and pains, and insomnia. 1-2 hits and it's almost pure medicine; it knocks out the pain leaving you painless and mostly clear-headed and functional. 3-4 hits and it's in the recreational zone- body buzz, euphoric, giggles and munchies. At higher doses it can become heady, possibly causing mild anxiety/paranoia and possible "greening out".
