Cherimoya

I bought a lb of indoor Chamoya last week and have been enjoying it thoroughly. I suffer from severe RLS at night and can’t sleep very well. After a bowl of this and about a half hour on the internet, I’m ready for bed. Stuff tastes great to me and smells up the room quite nicely. I do suppose I need a maid but at 4am, I’m not cleaning shit!

Grape Soda

I was smoking on this when Trump won the 2024 election. I’ve been smoking it ever since! Strange because I have about 20 different strains we grew this season and I’m sticking to this one. Great for evening after dinner/lunch smoke. Nothing tends to bother me when I’m high on this stuff. Ours is 35.1% thc and almost tastes like medicine. I need to dial down the nutrients next time I grow this strain. I prefer my cannabis at around 22-25%. That way it doesn’t taste like medicine.

Honey Tree

12/22/2024
I grew this strain on a whim. I went to the dispensary looking for some dab and it came with a free feminized honey tree seed. I ended up collecting 6 seeds and planted them this year. It’s legal here to grow six plants so I just said what the hay and put them in the ground after they vegged to about 3’. I put some nutrients in a huge reservoir with ph’d water and ran little drippers from the reservoir to my plants. Sometimes it was 7-8 days before I needed to do anything really so it was a simple grow. Simple but not easy!!! They got huge!! My biggest one is around 23’ tall and the smallest is around 21’ tall. I have no idea how long it’s going to take me to harvest but as long as my friends take weed in trade for help, I should be fine. Only problem is it’s all the same strain. Only two are different phenotypes but they still taste like HT. Honey Tree has a great taste and a long giggly high. The buds are also super hard and sticky. The two different phenotypes actually came out almost black and red. They look absolutely amazing to me. The smell is what sells it. The bag smell and appeal seems to sell this like selling steak to a Texan.

Awesome strain that leaves you very satisfied you grew it. It’s a very difficult strain to grow indoors. It loves to stretch and has a “busy” canapé that can be hard to scrog. I grew a SOG inside a 20’ tent and three of these plants had it covered by week 4 of bloom. I fought the canapé the rest of the way trying to make room for more bud spaces. The buds are very tight and extremely frosty. I sent an Oz to get tested and they came back with great numbers. 34.2% thc was the most impressive to me. Very sticky, strong, and long lasting high will be great benefits but the best plus for me is it helps with my leg pain. I served in DS and had my legs practically blown off. Sometimes the pain is so bad, I end up smoking about 3 bowls of this and I’m fine afterwards.

Blueberry

12/21/2024
Not as good as the DJ Short’s strain of Blueberry but very good. I’ve now grown both strains indoors and out twice. This is an easier plant to grow and not very thirsty when it comes to nutrients. The inhale on this is more of a harsher gassier flavor whereas the DJ Short strain is a lot less harsher. The DJ Short strain is also a super nutrient thirsty, bigger plants, with bigger buds and higher thc content. Both rock but the DJ has it won when it comes to taste, high, and density. Keep smoking them joints!

I was given an indoor sample of this strain. The buds were very large, smelly, and super sticky with a thc rating at 28.6%. I found the strain very interesting as it tasted just like soap at the inhale but a bit fruity on the exhale. The buds did smell a bit like apricots and or apples. Great strain with a long lasting effect. Just don’t take a test at the DMV when you’re baked on this strain.( either that or I totally suck at driving!

Studio 54

I grew 8 plants of this in my dep this year. They all turned out beautifully but two are completely different than the other 8. The two different phenotypes were both super purple. (almost black as night.) They also grew bigger than the other 6 plants with a lot more colas and bigger buds all together. The two different phenotypes tasted different than each other and a little different than the other six. If I had to choose, I’d pick the two that are different than the others. This strain grows very fast and can take quite a bit of nutrients. Especially near the end of the season if they have plenty of light. We haven’t tested it yet but if I were to guess I’d say somewhere in the high 20’s. The tricombes on this strain are super long with a huge head on the end. I wouldn’t go much past 70 days on this strain in bloom. The amber starts slowly but in the last week of flush, they turn amber fast. This plant is easy to wilt after the last week of flush so watch your tricombes closely during the end or your fruit will over ripen and be of no use. Awesome strain to grow for medium to professional gardeners. P.S. If you want bigger plant’s, I’d use a feminized seed and put it in the ground and not a smart pot.

Oregon Bus Pass

10/17/2024
My local dispensary carries a strain called, “Oregon Beauty.” It’s a different phenotype but it’s the same strain as Oregon BP. The buds are very colorful and mostly dark purple to blue. The taste is almost creamy as there is very little harshness with this strain. When we grow them, we also noticed a huge lack of pests. The bugs do not like this strain one bit. They attacked my Afghan Pillow Stain and some others but they wouldn’t come near the Oregon Beauty/Bus Pass. The first hit taste a bit like menthol and sweet candy. On the exhale it’s more skunky and sweet. The high lasts about 4 hours for myself but my wife is usually sawing logs after thirty minutes. All in all it’s a wonderful strain if you can find it. The flowers themselves are very thick and the leaves are a bit smaller than most Indica’s. We made some shatter out of about 10#’s with a 36.8% return. The shatter tasted exactly like the flowers but a little more harsh. We also made some ice water hash that was a bit harsh as well but super tasty and a gram burned for about an hour getting everyone in the room high.

Blueberry OG

Smoking some now. I paid $45 for an Oz and it smelled super good! The nugs were very large and tight. The whole oz consisted of 4 large buds and two smaller 2.0 gram nugs. I’m glad I got this strain because it’s just what my 73 year old body needed after a day like today. I’m in the middle of harvesting my own plants and I’ve been stressing and working my fingers bare to the bone in spots. (Nobody told me how much work is involved in growing 8 plants by myself.) I’m pretty sure this strain will be in the garden next year. It’s helped my body deal with the pain involved in growing cannabis like this.

Runtz Of Eden

Probably one of my favorites to grow outdoors. I got almost 70#’s of finished product off of 20 trees. It’s by far the best seller at our dispensaries and it’s one of the most requested strains in S. Oregon. There are a few different phenotypes but for the most part the buds came out almost black. About seven trees had a super light green color while two others came out purple with red hues. I love this strain for its potency and taste. The average in test results for thc was 27.2% with.03 cbd. The average high for me last about an hour but my wife says it just knocks her out almost immediately. The taste is utterly unforgettable. Taste like an orange, smells like an orange, and if you didn’t know better, you’d think your smoking a damn orange peel.
