Frida

I am so so bummed- I have awful sciatica pain, and I have searched and searched for just the right strain to help. Everywhere I looked, people said that Frida was the bomb, best of the best for sciatica, muscle spasms, calming. Not for me; I did get some calming in the first half hour, but it went away sharply after that, and my sciatica was barely turned to a dull roar. I use a convection vape, but I have also smoked it as a blunt. I am disappointed that it didn't do the job for me, and that the effects it did have were so short lived they went away before I could fall asleep.

Frida by Raven Grass is an amazing high CBD low THC strains. Very relaxing and makes you feel an interesting soft sensation around the eyes, with no overwhelming psychoactive effects. I’d best describe it as the best cigarette you’ll ever have because the CBD makes you chilled out as fuck without being high. Great if you’re new to weed want to smoke with friends without getting uncomfortably high. My fiancé is a much lighter smoker than I am since he’s just now getting into smoking and we both had a very unfortunate experience with Golden Ticket. Anxiety and very silly paranoias ensued but we were able to laugh it off the next day. Needless to say, high THC Sativa dominants are a big deter to him. Luckily, our good friend Frida was able to find him another way. I’ll usually be smoking my own joint made from my high THC stash and he’ll smoke a Frida (or similarly high CBD strains) pre roll to participate in the activity without getting overwhelmed with the psychoactive effects.

Method: Select Vape Cartridge (2:1) Aroma: LaCroix-esque (very light) lemon, fruity smell. Not much else. 0.5/1 Stars. Taste: Stronger lemon/citrus but also stronger earthiness and dirt you get from CBD strains. Unrelated but be careful trying to vape on this for too long, quick to get burnt and at some point the burntness sticks. 0.5/1 Stars. Feel: A very great meditative high. You can lie in bed staring up at the ceiling or reading a book. A lot of introspective thoughts but also will make you tired. This is not a daily driver/work CBD as the THC and indica traits are too strong. Nice before bed if you aren't trying to get too loopy. 1.5 Stars/2 Stars. Ranking: I like Swiss Tsunami better for my CBD purposes. A great indica for smokers with lower tolerances or those who can't smoke if they are too high but otherwise I would just go for the stronger indicas. Total: 2.5/5 Stars.
