I finally managed to get my hands on an eighth of this from Gold Leaf--every Monday when it's only $15, it FLIES off the shelf, enough that the employees joke about it with me. So I am excited to see what the hullabaloo is all about! I've ground up the flower and am imbibing by way of smoking a J, complemeted by a cuppa' J. THC testing at about 19% as expected. Upon smelling the raw bud, I get hit with a sort of ammonia-scent? Something strong and chemical-like, which I'm not a huge fan of, but I seem to have a very senstitive nose. In the first inhale, I taste and smell classic cannabis, earthy and whatnot; however, occassionally there's that little hint of limonene which has my tastebuds coming back for more. I'd say that it's a milder version of Mr. Clean's taste, if you've had the pleasure of also experiencing that strain. Oh, and it hits your head rather quickly--like, hitting-me-as-I-was-typing-that-last-sentence quickly. Definitely a strain to pair with coffee, I'm glad I did. More energetic for me, a quality morning strain for my days off. Its cousin Jack's Cleaner is a bit better for actually getting shit done though, IMO. But all in all, quality strain. I could see this raising my spirits in a depressive episode, so if you medicate for a mood disorder, this might be a better option for you (unless you're manic right now--smoke an indica, you clown). Stress relief is also very good with this, it seems to offset the anxiety of caffeine. 5/5 didn't disappoint.
