The staff are super knowledgeable and super friendly. The atmosphere is professional, yet comfortable. Yes the prices are a little high, but taking into account that it's a privately owned store (as opposed to corporatly owned) I'd rather pay a bit more to support local. For sure my favourite store in town. 10/10 would reccomend.

Jeremy has been a great help when I am able to get back to Cache Creek and visit. He is very helpful and a great salesperson. The Cache Creek store has a great selection and good prices.

It is always such a great experience shopping at Shades. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to really get to know their patrons. (By name in fact). I can trust in any recommendation I am given because the staff know me and know what I will benefit from most. The best thing about Shades is they make you feel appreciated and no matter what...they are ALWAYS smiling!

I was directed to the right 1 gram pre-roll to help finish a large (non-driving, desk work) project this afternoon. The budtender suggested Jean Guy from Good Supply to help with concentration. I've tried this same variety before in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. I remember finding the minty, piney tasting and dry-mouth-causing pre-roll to have a stronger potency than other pre-rolls. Also, Good Supply's pre-rolls burn much better than prep-rolls from other companies (like, erm ... Tweed, perhaps?). So, I was tempted to try the Jean Guy again. Jean Guy has what's known as the traditional energetic Sativa punch (although some budtenders might say the real differences between couch-lock and energetic weeds are based on the terpenes on the plants, not their cannabinoids and their Indica and Sativa heritages, but that's another rabbit hole. Most important: the Jean Guy pre-roll tastes great and burns very well with no clogging in the filter. I have purchased pre-rolls from shops throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan; from Olds to Assiniboia, and Calgary to Peace River and many of the pre-rolls I bought didn't burn very well at all. Some companies offer much better pre-rolls than others. Good Supply is one of the best legal cannabis sources for pre-rolls from my experiences - and this includes the smoke I had today.
I do not like it when I drive up after work and still have a minute to spare and the guy locks the door and laughs walking away
I do not like that the web page is not updated on a regular so a person can see what is in stock and the prices that they are going to pay.
