I got a gram of this again from a local shop. This isn't my first time smoking, but it's my first time reviewing without any added liquid diamonds or scraping the kief screen, none of that. For starters. It has sweet/lemony but wrank smell. Not the stickiest grind. I didn't really have to scrape much out of the grinder at all. SMOOTH smoke! You really can taste the pepper from the Beta Caryopholene (PRAISE THE LORD!). Doesn't QUITE hit the back of the throat with pepper like heavier BC strains... it's honestly quite smooth! Very pleasant smoke. I didn't start coughing until I came back inside and rinsed out the bong. On a Slight, Medium, Harsh cough scale it was bordering between Slight and Medium for a moment, but not long. I can still taste the lemon and the beta cary on my breath. You get some lemon, and some earth as well while smoking. Or at least I did. It's an interesting high. You do feel a good portion of that BC throughout the limbs getting you all tingly and relaxed... very loose. The head high at first is pretty mothershipped... but that's only at the peak, which wasn't overly long, but still very good after a stressful day. After that, the head high is really mellow. You still feel it a tad behind the eyes, but it concentrates more toward the crown. Not quite ballooned (close), but more in a... ready to be social kinda way. If that makes sense... you want to be a chatty kathy somewhere, but you can't exactly move... kind of vibe. Very good de-sresser, but not exactly later evening bud. I would give it 4.5 if I could. That's why 4.

I got mine from a stereotypical head shop... you know, Yes to the Glass but No to the Grass type of hole in the wall places? That said... fairly smooth smoke, all things considered. Didn't taste amazing, but we're not reviewing for taste on this one. The head high hit's you right behind the eyes. Again, despite expected quality (it was two pre-rolls for $15 and some change... that was AFTER tax... so my expectations are LOW. The head high is fairly incapacitating... it actually spreads from behind the eyes all the way to the crown of the head... you get a touch mothership'd at the peak on this. Not bad at all. The body high is your typical indica body high for your stronger strains... I have some really nice tingling sensation through the limbs, and the relaxation aspect has all limbs feeling surprisingly heavy. I could honestly get some decent sleep right now if I allowed myself to lie down... It's pretty damned decent for a gas station brand... I suspect if you got this from an artisan grower, you might have something akin to G13 in it's wholly arresting high...

Ok, so. Round two. Admittedly my first smoke which ended on the nearer side of Dragon Ride is because I A: STUFFED the bowl full WELL beyond it's capacity with PRIMO nugs. B: Scraped the entire keef catch from the entirety of 2024 and 2025. and C: Scraped my remaining Liquid DIamonds as hard as the Keef Catch. I pushed that bowl to like, 10 tokes minimal, bruh I was absolutely buggin... THIS TIME, However. After sesh cough isn't nearly as bad (I didn't smoke nearly as much). The in itial head high gets fairly mothershipped. and then it just goes straight to creative fun! like. I'm listeeing to Stoners by Berner, B-Real and Wiz Khalifa and i'm imagining this newfie dog wit a beanie, right... and he's just smilin' and pantin', his eyes all red and his head just a swayin' to the beat of the song and his droopy cheeks just a swaying back and forth right along! You know... you keep it moderate on this strain and it can be pretty damned fun, with no Kush Rush paranoia at all! If you try and have somethin' to prove and you'll fuck aroun' n ride the dragon on this bud just the same as any Sativa! Among the absolute best Hybrid Indica's I've had. MUCH more social and chill than just locked. 5 stars, unquestionable. MEMORABLE high.

Finally got my hands on some. Mine was a pre-roll that I cut into my bowl (i'm lazy, sue me), and it smelled a bit piney, pungent. Honestly, it wasn't as smooth a toke as I'd expected. Not bad, just... had me caughing after the first pull. Minor caugh, nothing unreasonable. Granted, i'm a daily smoker, so grain of salt, my experience might be biased by tolerance. The ride is headier than you think. I went mothership for a brief moment... like, I wanted to get my snow gear and a really cozy blanky, fly back to Canada and fall asleep under the northern lights for a moment there. it's honestly a nice, relaxing, cozy head high once the peak passes. Just hit's you right behind the eyes. I remember how G13 used to make me go full mothership for half an hour ON OIL VAPE, god only knows how spaced I'd be on flower. But THIS, it's honestly wonderful. Like, you're incapacitated high, but you could talk or sleep, and neither would be heavy handed in the sensation. It also has a really nice velcroey body high that more loosens you than flattens you out. My shoulders and jaw are fully unclenched, same as my abdomen, which are my tension areas. Skin level tingle through the extremeties was nice. Not quite Maui, but still nice... God BLESS the Beta-Caryophelene for that! It's just SUCH a curl me up in a cozy blanket with some coco type of high, just ALL around! And also just an all around stress relief type strain. Probably best smoked in the winter time, though. My body DOES feel warmer now, so it might not smoke as well in Texas summers? Excellent body high, though. Very loose and relaxed. MEMORABLE high! No wonder it's a classic!

So, for context, I asked the guy at the bud shop to help me forget what my government did last night (at present it is the early afternoon of Jan 3 2026), and he suggested Gorilla Glue. It's been a few years since I'd had this strain, so I felt it was the right call to bring me calm. I used my newly purchased "small" bowl to reset my tolerance range, which was daily, multiple times and with my "big" bowl (even the external surface of the little bowl can literally fit inside the big bowl) for roughly a week leading up to this. The smell on my bud was quite piney and citrusy for GG. Must've been a limonene heavy grow. Smooth smoke. I didn't really get much of a taste that could be picked out. It's probably be more citrusy as well. Which, now that I'm sitting with the sensations, it would make sense. This one isn't quite as heavy as I've known GG to be. I've past the peak, but I'm not quite glued to my seat. I'm still plenty relaxed... my face just isn't melted. So they've hit a pretty sweet spot with potency. My shoulder's are dropped. my limbs are lose, but not energized. I'm just kinda... good! I give it a 4/5 becuase despite being a very mellow, very sweet spot balance in the potency... there's nothing MEMORABLE about this one. Purple Haze and Maui Wowie and even Rainbow Sherbet all had such unique sensations that they earn an almost mythic space on my lists. GG doesnt quite hit that plane of existence for me, but it's perfectly acceptable for new users who want a more mellow, relaxed, but not quite sedated... or not FULLY sedated at the peak, I should say. more leveled out than sedated.

I consider myself a big boy, daily smoker... this one is just NOT for the faint of heart. It's not to say it's bad, I just would NOT start your curious friend on this strain. It's a wonderful high. You feel like a warm blanket is wrapped around your whole body, but it's a HEAVY peak. It's fantastic for the late evening. Absolute snuggle strain.

I'm not sure if I got a wierd variety of Halle Berry, but mine has been MUCH more energetic. Not in a bad, leg shakey way... No. I'm managing two new years side hustles in my head right now... like. I'm literally getting my shit together for 2026... not in a panicky way, but in an oddly FOCUSED way (Never diagnosed, but strongly suggest I've had ADHD my whole life, so having focus on a single project, let alone 2 without the deadline being TONIGHT is... uh... this must be what normal people feel like? The body high is subtle. Not really tingly or buzzy, but loose. Not a particularly tastely smoke... not for me. It probably tastes like what the site says, but those are probably just flavor profiles I'm not a fan of... so take taste with a grain of salt. The head high is arresting for a few minutes at the peak, but since then... I've had focus for my tasks since then, and I've had that without an impending deadline... this strain is honestly more therapeutic than recreational, for me.

The draw on this (via water-pipe with ice hold) was very smooth. Even though BC as primary terp, I found this sweeter than your more typical peppery hit. Slight hop taste. It honestly feels a bit like you've had a brew. I know, says the yahoo that's been bottle free for 10 years... but you NEVER forget that... This one hit's you behind the eyes. very relaxing, a tad intoxicating, but overall VERY relaxing. It's probably more of a velcroe'd, sleepy heavy type head/body highs... and I'm a daily smoker. So this one might be a touch heavy for newer users, but by no means a bad trip. It's just heavy on the eyelids. Slight body tingle and more of a body relaxation than buzz, if that make's sense. Like. I'll be able to push through and watch some SNF, but that's about it. FAR more sleepy than trippy. Heavily recommend for relaxation, PTSD, Stress relief and as a sleep aid. Fellow vets would likely appreciate this one. I gave this one a 3, not because I don't appreciate the high, nor the smoke experience. It's just fine! and that's more the point, I suppose. It's good, but it is by no means quite memorable. Like... I smoked Maui Wowie one time and I saw friggin' Andromeda...they have giant friggin' flourescent green space squid just makin' they're way across the night sky, like... which was pitch purple, not black... and the planets were all like... this flourescent color marble in the sky type feeling... This one, however, feels like I've probably had one too many at the bar, or somethin'. But I'm just one random idiot on the internet who, again, smokes daily (and multiple times daily, recently) so... grain of salt. This could still be YOUR trip to Andromeda!

I FINALLY got my hands on some Sour D. Had a co-worker rant and rave about it being his fav strain growing up. I want to say that this is a tough smoke for my pallet. I typically like spicier, BC heavy strains both because I like that small peppery shot on the the first rip... but this one the taste lives up to the name... It's diesel-y, and sour on top of the pepper. It's honestly a tad on the yuck side for me. That's why no 5th star. Beyond the taste... I can see why he called it an "ideal strain". I'm well lit, but not completely floating... and I'm well body buzzed for comfort and relaxation... but not SO much that I'm velcroed... EXCELLENT high. Hit's you more behind the eyes than the head, so relaxation heavy, less stimulating. The body is just ever so softly buzzing. My limbs are lose, but I'm by no means DRIVEN to chores. Maybe that comes after the peak? All in all, this is a dope strain. Very similar to the way Purple Haze and Pineapple Express give you that buzzed body-losened limbs and slightly drops the shoulders. I'm more in the mood to cut on some music and cut a rug than to get cleaning... excellent vibe for a Sativa. Just...HEED the name if your pallet is like mine...not quite top 5... might crack my top 10 SATIVA strains. VERY good, but not quite memorable.

So, I'm trying WC from a different method. Instead of emptying the joint into my bowl, I grown this one up myself and it was CAKEY! Needed to grab one of those plaquers, you know, whith this toothpick you can break off? Yeah... needed THAT bad boy to clear the herb grinder... and those nugs were a bit white, almost like they were frost tipped, so I knew it would be STICKY! And these nugs were primo... not the trim! I ground about 3/4 of my big boy bowl (1 step up from a generic bowl). The hits are a bit sweet, almost like drinking some hot sweet tea (I'm Texan, and I can't tell you enough why this dropped the review to a 4... TLDR it's supposed to be ICED!), but that doesn't mean that won't work for you, so take my pettiness with a grain of salt. BEYOND THAT! SMOOTH draw... absolutely smooth draw, barely any cough at all! Just an overall good experience on the smoke itself. I PREFER more of that Beta-Caryophylene peppery hit in the draw, but that's a ME thing. THE HIGH ITSELF! This is a wonderful strain. Where it lacks for me on the flavor, it MORE than makes up for in the ride (though the coughs are coming an bit late now). The ride is JUST as smooth as the smoke! I tend to have a mild breakdown when I hit a little too much sativa, but there's not much of that kush rush... just a smooth, head high all around! VERY relaxing head high! As is the body high! It's not terribly velcroe-y. But it IS more on the intense relaxation side of things. This is probably a glass of wine in the late evening types/bedtime brew for the newcomers type of strains. It gives off wrapping yourself in your warmest jamies on the couch under you BEST blankey with the cat puring in your lap while you CRUSH a slice of some wedding cake next to a raging fire that your just built for your new wife on the 4th night of your honey moon vibes. And YES! The cat DOES go on the honey moon with you love birds. :D I'ma go lie down now...
