The smell was very earthy/sweet and citrusy. Orange trichs all OVER the nugs. Absolutely fell apart in the grinder. This was no sticky, or maybe this particular nug was just a tad on the dry side, but it fell apart. I packed a standard bowl full for my bong, but ... "Airy" full, not PACKED down, if you get me. This is certainly the SMOOTHEST smoke I've had in a min. Sweet, Earthy taste in the intake. Damn near NO cough until I got back inside.It's finally peaking... I'm fully mother shipped... from my eyes, to the top of my skull... absolutely skyward... I've alread got some really fun internal visuals. Think aliens themes meets Rob Zombie animation style from Beavis and Butthead Do America scene... VERY stoney head high. The body high isn't bad either. The shop I bought at had a more hybrid potency to it. I know most are expecting more pure sativa... but we're still at the peak, so the body is still buzzy too. Enough I dropped my shoulders. Pretty quick peak, though. I'm honestly in the mood for just about anything. Not a paranoid high, it's honestly pretty chill. I'm a daily smoker (1/2 gram - 1 gram at most), so always take my tolerance with that grain of salt. but this is a very good strain. Not unbelievable, not breaking my Top lists, but WELL above average. Solid 4.5 of 5 (but I can only chose 4) so make sure you either A: have SOME tolerance built or B: Stick to just ONE hit.

This Lemon Haze upon smoke was lemony, and a touch peppery/piney on the smoke. The after smoke cough was on the heavier end. I admittedly hit it from my “Big Bowl”… so, grain of salt.. I am buzzing SO damn nice rn… it’s honestly a little like Maui, but not nearly as perfect on the body buzz/tingle… Still REALLY nice buzz. The head high is total mothership for a few minutes… on the longer end. And we’re talking FULL mothership… body s a touch velcroey at the peak. I am having some creative visual imaginations. Body is very lose… you’d think I’d be a bit kush rushed given how much I ripped for my Saturday night… but this is a hella smooth ride… it’s on the intense end of smooth, so probably try with a worked up tolerance. I’m a daily smoker (and I’ve smoked multiple times today) but I am absolutely flying in the most delightful way, y’all. As the peak is wearing off, I’m getting calmly hyped up for this hockey game I’m about to watch. This one is excellent for socializing.Like… if I were gonna rip something right before heading into the bar or out anywhere night life… It’d probably be this one. This one just made the list. Very potent, but very social high. Not a starter strain.

So, my first time actually grinding up and smoking the infamous Northern Lights! For starters… my 3.5g package was a SINGLE NUG! This bad boy was massive, kief covered, jolly deep green GIANT! I’ve NEVER seen an 8th as one nug! In the grinder, it gets a touch cakey, but nothing too bad, but when handled with your fingers, it gets STICKY as all hell! Lemon, Earth and Pine smell! Strong, but no overpowering. We are off to a HELL of a pre-smoke start! It’s more earthy. I guess woodsy as well. You don’t really get the pepper that you’d expect with beta-caryophylene, but it’s a very muted, smooth smoke. Not too bad on the coughing, but there are a few after smoke coughs. Nothing crazy. Oh… WOW… I’m in the mountains…I’m in a cabin… with a big fire in the hearth. There’s a bear out there somewhere. He’s got him a fish, and a coka-cola. I gotta listen to some music. You should try something like “Stoners” by Berner and B-Real. Really oddly fits the mountain vibe. VERY heady peak high, as I’m sure you’ve already gathered, lol… The body high had me feeling at first like the Michelin man while I was hangin with my bear friend. Then it settles into a nice, warm, hoodie with you favorite jammies. Sipping you’re favorite cold weather beverage next to that awesome ass fire! Just a really cool head trip and then just incredible relaxation. It’s pretty velcroey throughout. Bowl couldn’t have been more than 80ish % full, smallish/standard bowl. Sizable but still not the WHOLE bowl. Also, Helvetia - Stoners has some trippy riffs... but it does kind of overstay it's welcome. Much like my review. NOT a beginner strain... But STILL try if you can!

This is honestly one of the best hemp shops in DFW. Pat and Abby are amazing, as are Tracy and the others. Very welcoming, very friendly AND they're all VERY knowledgeable... They're terpene nerds, and just all-around, genuinely decent folks. I always buy my Friday Flower here. Their "Grape Fanta" absolutely nukes my current world events anxiety for a few hours. And their Purple Haze (if they ever do another batch), COMPLETELY held up to the vibe of the song! Absolutely would recommend!

I got a gram of this again from a local shop. This isn't my first time smoking, but it's my first time reviewing without any added liquid diamonds or scraping the kief screen, none of that. For starters. It has sweet/lemony but wrank smell. Not the stickiest grind. I didn't really have to scrape much out of the grinder at all. SMOOTH smoke! You really can taste the pepper from the Beta Caryopholene (PRAISE THE LORD!). Doesn't QUITE hit the back of the throat with pepper like heavier BC strains... it's honestly quite smooth! Very pleasant smoke. I didn't start coughing until I came back inside and rinsed out the bong. On a Slight, Medium, Harsh cough scale it was bordering between Slight and Medium for a moment, but not long. I can still taste the lemon and the beta cary on my breath. You get some lemon, and some earth as well while smoking. Or at least I did. It's an interesting high. You do feel a good portion of that BC throughout the limbs getting you all tingly and relaxed... very loose. The head high at first is pretty mothershipped... but that's only at the peak, which wasn't overly long, but still very good after a stressful day. After that, the head high is really mellow. You still feel it a tad behind the eyes, but it concentrates more toward the crown. Not quite ballooned (close), but more in a... ready to be social kinda way. If that makes sense... you want to be a chatty kathy somewhere, but you can't exactly move... kind of vibe. Very good de-sresser, but not exactly later evening bud. I would give it 4.5 if I could. That's why 4.

I got mine from a stereotypical head shop... you know, Yes to the Glass but No to the Grass type of hole in the wall places? That said... fairly smooth smoke, all things considered. Didn't taste amazing, but we're not reviewing for taste on this one. The head high hit's you right behind the eyes. Again, despite expected quality (it was two pre-rolls for $15 and some change... that was AFTER tax... so my expectations are LOW. The head high is fairly incapacitating... it actually spreads from behind the eyes all the way to the crown of the head... you get a touch mothership'd at the peak on this. Not bad at all. The body high is your typical indica body high for your stronger strains... I have some really nice tingling sensation through the limbs, and the relaxation aspect has all limbs feeling surprisingly heavy. I could honestly get some decent sleep right now if I allowed myself to lie down... It's pretty damned decent for a gas station brand... I suspect if you got this from an artisan grower, you might have something akin to G13 in it's wholly arresting high...

Ok, so. Round two. Admittedly my first smoke which ended on the nearer side of Dragon Ride is because I A: STUFFED the bowl full WELL beyond it's capacity with PRIMO nugs. B: Scraped the entire keef catch from the entirety of 2024 and 2025. and C: Scraped my remaining Liquid DIamonds as hard as the Keef Catch. I pushed that bowl to like, 10 tokes minimal, bruh I was absolutely buggin... THIS TIME, However. After sesh cough isn't nearly as bad (I didn't smoke nearly as much). The in itial head high gets fairly mothershipped. and then it just goes straight to creative fun! like. I'm listeeing to Stoners by Berner, B-Real and Wiz Khalifa and i'm imagining this newfie dog wit a beanie, right... and he's just smilin' and pantin', his eyes all red and his head just a swayin' to the beat of the song and his droopy cheeks just a swaying back and forth right along! You know... you keep it moderate on this strain and it can be pretty damned fun, with no Kush Rush paranoia at all! If you try and have somethin' to prove and you'll fuck aroun' n ride the dragon on this bud just the same as any Sativa! Among the absolute best Hybrid Indica's I've had. MUCH more social and chill than just locked. 5 stars, unquestionable. MEMORABLE high.

So, for context, I asked the guy at the bud shop to help me forget what my government did last night (at present it is the early afternoon of Jan 3 2026), and he suggested Gorilla Glue. It's been a few years since I'd had this strain, so I felt it was the right call to bring me calm. I used my newly purchased "small" bowl to reset my tolerance range, which was daily, multiple times and with my "big" bowl (even the external surface of the little bowl can literally fit inside the big bowl) for roughly a week leading up to this. The smell on my bud was quite piney and citrusy for GG. Must've been a limonene heavy grow. Smooth smoke. I didn't really get much of a taste that could be picked out. It's probably be more citrusy as well. Which, now that I'm sitting with the sensations, it would make sense. This one isn't quite as heavy as I've known GG to be. I've past the peak, but I'm not quite glued to my seat. I'm still plenty relaxed... my face just isn't melted. So they've hit a pretty sweet spot with potency. My shoulder's are dropped. my limbs are lose, but not energized. I'm just kinda... good! I give it a 4/5 becuase despite being a very mellow, very sweet spot balance in the potency... there's nothing MEMORABLE about this one. Purple Haze and Maui Wowie and even Rainbow Sherbet all had such unique sensations that they earn an almost mythic space on my lists. GG doesnt quite hit that plane of existence for me, but it's perfectly acceptable for new users who want a more mellow, relaxed, but not quite sedated... or not FULLY sedated at the peak, I should say. more leveled out than sedated.

I consider myself a big boy, daily smoker... this one is just NOT for the faint of heart. It's not to say it's bad, I just would NOT start your curious friend on this strain. It's a wonderful high. You feel like a warm blanket is wrapped around your whole body, but it's a HEAVY peak. It's fantastic for the late evening. Absolute snuggle strain.

I'm not sure if I got a wierd variety of Halle Berry, but mine has been MUCH more energetic. Not in a bad, leg shakey way... No. I'm managing two new years side hustles in my head right now... like. I'm literally getting my shit together for 2026... not in a panicky way, but in an oddly FOCUSED way (Never diagnosed, but strongly suggest I've had ADHD my whole life, so having focus on a single project, let alone 2 without the deadline being TONIGHT is... uh... this must be what normal people feel like? The body high is subtle. Not really tingly or buzzy, but loose. Not a particularly tastely smoke... not for me. It probably tastes like what the site says, but those are probably just flavor profiles I'm not a fan of... so take taste with a grain of salt. The head high is arresting for a few minutes at the peak, but since then... I've had focus for my tasks since then, and I've had that without an impending deadline... this strain is honestly more therapeutic than recreational, for me.
