North American Sativa
North American Sativa effects are mostly energizing.
North American refers to any strain that grows natively in this region. These indigenous vareities (also called landraces) can exhibit indica or sativa characteristics depending on the climate and latitude at which it grows. Sativas tend to grow in warmer regions closer to the equator, while the hardier indica varieties are more common beyond 30 degrees latitude.

North American Sativa strain reviews(11)
One of my favorite strains to smoke but Yerba Buena has ruined it. They either changed growers, forgot to flush, rushed the dry, it wasn’t stored correctly or a combination of all of the above. I purchased 7g and I couldn’t get pas the first bong rip. It was super harsh and the ash was straight black. This is exactly why I grow my own.
First strain I have ever tried and I keep coming back to it. Seems like this is the most suitable for me.
Is this the stuff that was coming around mid to late 80s? We called it Christmas tree sense, it had a piney smell, tasted like the 70s hash i had. it was wonderful, satavia head buzz, with heavy burn out on the end. I was lucky enough to just pick up a strain of this lineage, and the smell, taste, and buzz take me back to 85....Check it out if you ever run in to it
