White Buffalo

A sacred, and mysterious animal. Small, pebble like buds are densely wound with sparse, light orange hairs. The real draw, however, is the heavy layer of crystals that envelop every square inch, inside and out. You might leave a fingerprint if you pick up the bud. The smell is grassy, and a little spicy, but somewhat sweet. Once ground, there are some faint berry, and pine scents that follow. Overall, the smell is reminiscent of Pink Peppercorns. The taste is similar, but sweeter, and not as much peppery kick, but be warned, while this strain has a smooth smoke, the clouds are thick, and volumous. Don't over do it! High is happy, lucid, and mellow, with a surisingly even body buzz from a Sativa. If you're not a fan of Sativas this is a strain for you. It should be noted that this strain can be very potent (look at it), and over indugling might lead to some dizzying effects. Overall this is a novel strain , well worth a purchase of you manage to catch it in your area. It's well rounded high makes this an all purpose strain, good for day, or night, staying in, or going out, celebrating good times, or aleviating the bad.

Dreamboat. Spearmint green buds come alive with a shock of orange hairs, and a generous sprinking of dew. Surprisingly musky, this strain makes itself evident immediately. Be sure to be courteous of others! Once open this strain is surprisingly, sweet, with traditional indica earthy flavors picking up the back end. Smoke is thick, reisonous, and earthy reminiscent of your favorite cigarillo brand. High is warm, and inviting. Dreamy but not spacy, and surprisingly active. To be sure, over indlugence will lead to an early bed time, but to the moderate this is a euphoric strain, and one that's adviseable to those who don't generally like Indicas. I was admittedly skeptical of this strains moniker, but it proves to be fairly accurate, Best with cool nights, great company, and your favorite records.

Cherry Skunk

A pleasant reprieve, Deep, moss green buds overrun with a tangle of orange hairs. Thin layers of frost give the impression of dew on a freshly cut lawn. A faint cherry/stone fruit scent can be picked up, but the smell is mostly earthy, and a little pungent. Smoke is smooth, with an interesting cardamon/star anise flavor that reminds of Indian sweets. (or clove cigarettes) It's an exotic taste that I became rather fond of. High is even, and mellow with a very easing contentment that settles in. Though indica dominant in genetics, it feels more Sativa. High seems to center in the head, and while it can be a bit dreamy, high is fairly lucid, and is great for getting absorbed in a project. Overall, while this strain might not make dedicated pot enthusiasts raise any eyebrows, it's approachable nature, and ability to be appropriate for a wide range of activities, or times of day make this an awesome strain for those new to smoking, or anyone who just wants a practical, day to day strain. Great with all your favorite things, or finding some space in between all the things that aren't .

Headband

8/8/2015
A powerful strain. Anyone who has tried the two -very- renowned parents of this breed (or who has read my reviews of Sour D. and OG Kush) will have some idea of what Headband has to offer. It will do you one better. A complex nose of sweet grape, soil, pine, and lemon with a pungent ammonia like smell escaping once ground. It's a thick, mossy scent that will assuredly fill a large radius. Be sure to be courteous of others! Buds are a mellow jungle green. Fibrous, and crystalline, with intriguing peach/pale gold hairs. Definitely a looker. Taste is earthy, but surprisingly fresh, with bittersweet lemondrop notes on the end. Overzealous tokers be warned; Headband has a lung filling capacity not easily matched. You will feel the bottom of your lungs. High is warm, and vibrating, with a tense pressure that begins to build around the temples and radiates in a band (go figure) around the top of the skull. As someone who is sensitive to migraines I was a little worried about how this would gel, but no problems were experienced. The only mark against this strain, the crainial pressure can become vice like, and while not unpleasant, it definitely is not for everyone. Definitely not a strain for those new to the world of cannabis. Overall, an exemplary strain that should at least be given a go. Great for meditation, outdoorsy adventures, and introducing your friends to Twin Peaks.

Dynamite

A severely overlooked must try. Fat buds whose naturally pale mint color is washed into almost ash white by a thick layer of crystals. Snowy orange hairs wrap around distinctly lilac purple, and cool pink patches. A prismatic beauty. Scent is a wonder. Grapefruit, and citrus, with grape, and mixed berry one is reminded of any neon colored fruit candy. Once its had time to air, classic earthy indica flavors can be picked up. Smoke is similarly pleasant, and tastes much like the smell, albeit a bit more resinous, but zealous tokers be warned, smoke builds quickly! High is easing, and really seems to make your troubles wander away. A care free, but somewhat couch locking strain, the more you imbibe the less likely you are to be into social affairs. This strain will shine in the moments spent in a two's company scenario. Best with hammocks, meditation, and for when the kids are finally in bed.

OG Kush

A model hybrid. Popularity is mostly beauty, and this bud is gorgeous. Fat, forest/pine green buds with thick, ropy red-orange hairs and a layer of crystals thick enough to fall like snowflakes when disturbed. Indica roots are obvious from the woodsy, earthy smell. Slightly sweet, and a bit of citrus hidden in the back, overall an inoffensive strain. Taste, for some, is where this bud will loose points. Resin-y, and dirt like the author personally enjoys the flavor, but amongst newbies you might see some grimaces. High is warm, friendly, and focused primarily around the head. While potent, the approachable, easing nature of this strain is still good for novices, though as is the case with anything, know your limits. Overall, a delightful experience, best with beach going, sight seeing, and hand holding.

Green Queen

Quite a unique strain. Woody, earthy, somewhat floral notes are pleasant but cause quite a ruckus. Surprisingly sweet, and fruity notes come out once the bud has had a chance to breathe. Apricots, and plum. From afar this strain might appear dullish, but closer inspection reveals an attractive olive green, with an even carpet of orange hairs. The interesting linage of this plant leads to some equally interesting results that, all together, is rather unrelatable to other strains I've tried. While sociable, high seems to locate just behind the face/skull. Though I did not run into this problem, those prone to tension headaches, and migraines should be wary. There's an odd, but not unpleasant, pressure that tends to build the more you inhale. It's a trippy feeling that's maybe not for every one. Best with long conversations, binge watching shows, Chinese food, or some combination of the three.

Sour Diesel

Mass appeal for a reason. Cool spearmint green buds, with brick/scarlet hairs, and crystals the size of table salt. You'll be running for your camera. With a name like Sour Diesel, even new patients will know what kind of fragrance to expect. Thick, tangy, resin-y, at first but sweet and piney once its had a chance to breathe. An acquired taste, perhaps, but unmistakable. Be wary, the scent carries. And carries. While tasty, and relatively smooth, the smoke building capacity of this strain is something to be aware of. Your lungs have nowhere to hide. High is warm, and comfortable, and plays well in social situations. A great boost, that doesn't leave you with the need to crash, and its even, mellow high wards away anxiety, or paranoia seen in some similarly potent Sativas. A great option for those who, like me, are sensitive to Sativas. Pairs well with light lunches, day trips, people watching, and conversations away from phones.

Kali Mist

5/2/2015
The Sativa for those who don't like Sativas. A cheerful, summery smell emanates from this bud with scents of pineapple, young coconut, and flowers. Nugs are a lush jade, with electric orange hairs, and a thick layer of frost. NOT for beginners this strain is quite potent, and it's thick clouds, while refreshing to the tongue, will reach the bottom of your lungs. High is uplifting, and fun, at first but subsides into a pleasing body high that you wouldn't expect from such a prominent member of the Sativa family. As stated before, caution is advised. Over indulging (which can happen quite quickly) might lead to some trippy, vertigo inducing experiences, and an unpleasant head rush for those sensitive to sativa (such as myself.) Over all not to be missed. Good with picnics, outdoor activites, and spiritual betterment.

Big Wreck

Textbook good bud. A striking coat of crystals is immediate obvious even at a distance. "Is that shit white?" Quote, a guest in my home. Though dank, and pungent even when underwraps, and especially when ground, this bud has some surprisingly pleasant fruit and floral notes. Jasmine, and apricot trees blooming. A smooth smoke, with a very clean, almost pine-sol taste, this bud impresses on all fronts. High is relaxing, but alert, and conversation starts the moment you exhale. A little spacey, with a gentle head buzz that manages to not be dizzy, or migraine inducing for those sensitive to sativa (such as myself.) Due to the occasional tendency this strain has of making your thoughts wander, and the assured nap you'll be needing once the high subsides, plan to have all your business squared away within a couple of hours from smoking. Great with pizza, a loved one, tv, and bed,
