Thai is awesome. I got the THC-A variety from Join August. Vaped it in my Davinci. The smell is entirely unique. Very sweet, spicy. Almost an incense smell. The flavor brought a unique profile as well. Sweet, tropical, and very smooth. Visually very appealing. Loooong dark nugs, orange hairs, some ice, and my favorite feature - some very dark little areas that poke through. Really beautiful and unique flower. The effects were top notch! Full body tingles, and pain relief for my stiff back. I love a goody body high and Thai hits the standard. The cerebral high was lovely - uplifting but clear. After a delightful come-up, the stone leveled into something manageable. I was able to hit the grocery store, meal prep for the week, and bake some delicious rice crispies. I didn’t feel jittery, just groovy. That was just two rips on the vape/bong. Which is a light dose for me. I did notice a bit of anxiety on the come down, but atypical for weed, more like my own brand that I’d forgotten about coming back to visit. It was pretty mild so nothing major needed to keep it at bay, but for those who are prone to anxiety - you may get a little flash at the end but it is manageable. I noticed creativity and inspiration percolating which was nice and generally fun and felt good. Went back for another sesh as a night cap and really let ‘er rip. The come up stopped time altogether (which I love), and things got pleasantly trippy. I felt like my imagination was able to influence my perception some and just enjoyed the novelty. Kept me up for a bit, but I like to reflect while stoned - I took a walk inside, so to speak with Thai and turned that introspective mirror to myself. Explored things, felt my emotions, considered existence and time, and then passed out and had some vivid dreams that I don’t remember. No grog in the morning. Solid experience. Thai is a winner for sure and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Tyson is a solid strain. I had a THCA variety from Veteran Grown on a Davinci Vape. The buds on this strain are nice and tight. Light green, some fuzz and trichomes present. The nose is… weed.. more or less. Nothing striking to me on the smell side. The effects lived up to the hype. I had blazed a bit of some lighter stuff before, and used this one as the night cap. The come up was great. Elevated me from an already elevated state. Got super giggly and wellness just washed over me. I was surprised for a minute because I felt relatively functional, just lifted. As the stone came that changed into a deep and powerful relaxation. Back and neck pain vanished and my body definitely was limp. Lead limbs for sure! Then the best part happened, I felt my pulse in my head for a few beats, and thinking “this must be the Mike Tyson hit to the head part” I leaned in. The undeniable urge to close my eyes took over and I basically just laid there blissfully for a while. Eventually got off the couch and went to bed and had a great night’s sleep with some really vivid dreams. This one is definitely a medical strain. Great nightcap. Instant pain relief and muscle relaxation and then a journey into the abyss.

Amaretto Mintz is a cool strain. I vaped a THCA variety from Miracle of the Desert on a Davinci vape. The flavor was definitely herbal - maybe that’s where the “mintz” comes from. Although not minty. A little grass and gass however. I noticed that this strain was pleasantly effective. Four hits on the vape and I was at a functional state. One of the greatest features I noticed right away is I realized how anxious I was *before* (I generally have some anxiety and bud helps with this). After hitting Mintz, all that anxiety just evaporated. I got into the zone, chilled and texted friends. Ate (definitely a gentle munch associated with this strain), and then went out for some ice cream and a late night walk around the local grocery store. This is a strain that just elevates. Not a huge difference between the come up and the stone. Nice long-lasting effects that just get deeper after additional sessions. I’d say this bud is indeed kind.

XXX OG has been my go to sleeping weee for some time now. I got mine from Veteran Grown, and vape it on a Davinci. The color/smell are not particularly interesting to me, but the effects are pretty solid. Definitely a hypnotic kind of stone. Good for bedtime, deep relaxation, heavy meditation (but you’ll fall asleep), and pain management. No anxiety on this strain. One interesting thing I’ve noticed with this one is it makes my legs mildly restless. Don’t know why but sometimes that makes the wind-down to sleeping a little weird. Maybe because it has strong body-high effects so it kind of makes flexing your leg muscles feel satisfying. Not sure, haven’t really figured it out, but it is good stuff. If you get really loaded, you’ll wake up a bit groggy. But coffee and a run will make that fog life.

Jealousy is awesome. I picked up an oz from an online retailer, some THC-A stuff. Gotta say, this here strain is like the Neapolitan of weed. You get a little of the best parts of all the highs in one go. Nice and piney on the nose. Jealousy rocks

One of my friends gave me a nugget of this flower and hats off to the whole situation. Top notch bud, made me feel high. The kind of weed you hit and right away go “oh yeah, we’re going home” and then there you are, wherever you are, you’re right there. Ya know?

Solid bud, gets the job done. Nothing really mind-blowing about it, but if you vape it, it makes you high.

Cool strain lots of funk in the nose. Easy go to for unwinding for me - not necessarily a strain I’d write home about but gets the job done consistently. Like the McDonald’s of weed!

Polar pop is, IMO, okay. I got some smalls from Miracle of the Desert (website) and vaped it down on a Davinci Vape. Everything about this strain was average for me. Flavor, color, effects, all non-remarkable. I noticed the energizing effects right away, felt some anxiety, felt the classic “head high” effects of similar strains described as Sativas. I could see this being a good choice for those who are not very motivated, or need a little boost at the end of the day but don’t want to be zonked. Since my preference is more of a mediated, journey inside kind of thing, the effects of this strain missed the mark for me.

Permanent marker is phenomenal. Got some THC-A flower from August Cannabis Club (website) and gave it a shot. Quirky became my favorite of the 10 or so strains I have rotating at the moment. Vaped this on a Davinci Vape. The flavor is, true to the name, kind of chemical tasting. That’s not unpleasant to me, but it definitely isn’t a fruity or citrusy one if that’s your bag. The effects are, in my opinion, perfect. Learning on the mellow side of high, good for late afternoon /evening. It’s never put me all the way out, but always gives me an excellent rooted stone. Imagine the way it would feel to be a lazy stream in a calm, silent, sunny and green wood. That’s the feeling PM gets me every time. Dense bud, green color, little orange hairs, some crystals and frost, and some dark looking stuff in there if you really look at it that my imagination tells me look like marker marks. Makes the aching back dissolve, anxiety vanish, happy, chillin, creative, goofy-good to be around kind of vibe.
