Cherried

When a bowl of flower stays lit without the use of a lighter. The continuous burning creates a glowing ember that resembles a red cherry, hence the name.

“I don’t need a lighter to hit this; the bowl’s cherried.”

What does cherried mean?

Because cannabis must be dried and cured to smoke, the dry material can remain burning even after a lighter is no longer directly applied to it.

Cherrying a bowl while smoking is a matter of preference. Experienced smokers may prefer to cherry their bowls, as the continuous burn allows for bigger hits without having to relight multiple times, saving lighters and reducing exposure to butane.

Cherrying a bowl can also be wasteful if not smoked quickly, as the cherry will continue to burn even when not being smoked.
